Quite satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Overall, 10% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, the lowest package is 2.8 LPA, and the average package is 3.4 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course is Wipro. Almost all the students got internships, and they all have joined start-up companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and classrooms are good. The benches and desks are good. The department rooms are good. Labs are good, and the library is good. The hostel Wi-Fi is good, but the only thing which is not good is the food in the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, and we do have teachers who have experience and knowledge. We have teachers who have knowledge but no experience. Students are made industry-ready by this relevant course curriculum. Semester exams are very tough.

M.Tech. in Thermal Power Engineering - Batch of 2014
1.2
1Placements2Infrastructure1Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
Our college has unskilled faculty members, poor placements and improper transportation facilities.
Placements: M.Tech in thermal power engineering course was offered by our college with an intake of 18 students during 2012 when I joined. Out of 18 students, 13 students were from all over the Bangalore region. Placements are not at all available in our college for M.Tech course, and even for B.E, they are very less. The scope for this course is high in the market, so we are able to find jobs outside the college. We got internships, skilled courses and placement training from other institutes for our career development.
Infrastructure: Our college was started in 1997. From its establishment until now, the infrastructure is the same without any development in canteen and hostel facility, even though the college is very far from the main road and town. Classrooms are very old. Labs have good machinery but don't have proper maintenance. The library has a very old style infrastructure with very less copies and old editions of books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are paid very less salaries, so all teachers are freshers who join to gain experience. Even though they are freshers, they make efforts to teaching and give their best. There will be not any industry-related knowledge for students. There is no helpful environment to make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it has high demand in the market and helps to get placed in good company or organisation. This course is very hard and requires industry and application exposure. So, labs should be added to the course so that students can practically improve their skills. Annual day, sports and other cultural activities were regularly organised every year.

Review of Sri Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology.
Placements: I am studying in this college, but I have failed in the 1st year due to backlogs. Even there is the worst management. Don't get admission here through management quota. I got admission through management quota. The teaching facility is average.
Infrastructure: Amenities like a library, canteen, are available here. There is a hostel facility, and I would rate only 3 stars. The college structure is good, but the food served in the canteen is not tasty. Wi-Fi password is also provided. They do not allow to operate mobile phones. The main security is fully strict. They are no bunking options. The library room is good. ATM is also available. The college offers a good environment. The campus is in a forest area. This is the only college in this area. The campus is good. The sports ground is available. We play cricket and basketball here. I would rate only 2 stars for the food quality. The college is 2 km from the main road. College bus is available. In case if the college bus is missed, then you have to go by walk.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they are well qualified. I am pursuing electronics and communication engineering here. The practical knowledge provided is not good because they only provide theoretical knowledge. The management here is the worst. We will pay the college fees from time to time. Principal and chairman named Krishnappa were good, and they interact with students.
Other: My course, electronics and communication engineering, is really bad, and I have lost interest in this. This college should improve placement services. This college does not celebrate events. They only celebrate freshers day.

Dissatisfied with the college campus, facilities, surroundings and placements except faculty.
Placements: To be frank, the placements in this college are worst compared to the other colleges. The teaching is very good, but the campus is not maintained, and the strength of students is very less, but I don't know how this college is in top 10 lists at Google. There are no internships and pre-projects in the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very bad, still, they haven't completed the construction of the main building. The toilets are maintained bad, and boys hostels are the worst. There is no Wi-Fi at labs, and all the equipment are the old ones. The classrooms are faded, I mean they have not maintained well. There are no medical facilities in the college. Sports are not bad, and it has been conducted only once in a year no practice, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are very helpful. They are all qualified, and they all sound good. They are the important sections of our college campus except for teachers all the facilities are the worst. They refer 3-4 textbooks, prepare the notes, and they give us which are very helpful.
Other: Events don't take place in the college. The fest is done once in every year, but seriously there is no mood to attend those fests because that is the most the worst part. The campus crowd is very less may be less than 200 students. The surroundings are not clean, and van facility is very worst. The scholarships which we apply will be received after a year. There are no extracurricular activities.

Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology review
Placements: One of the major drawbacks of the college. The only reputed company coming to the college for placement was IBM, which ended up selecting just 2 people for a technical job. All other companies turn up only for BPO jobs and nothing technical. Yet, the total placement would be 15 out of 200 people.
Infrastructure: Labs are one of the best features of the college. A lot of practical knowledge is imparted here. It is one of the interesting courses in computer science. The library has very limited books. They have a good auditorium for indoor programs and also a good and a secured parking lot for students and faculty members.
Faculty: The faculty members don't have any particular achievement in their fields. There are some who have just done BE and are doing their M.Tech along with teaching. They have a very bad alumni connect. A strong alumni connect would help in better placements.

The review of Sri Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placements in the college are bad in the year I passed out(2015). The only company came for the placements in the campus was IBM tech support, which ended up selecting just two students from the computer science branch. On the whole, the placement was not even 10% of the total strength.
Infrastructure: The college is well-constructed in a large place, but commuting is a problem since there are no means of transport for reaching there. There are good lab facilities and parking space. There is an outdoor ground, but no indoor stadium. The canteen in the campus is decent.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and approachable. The institute is affiliated to VTU, and they follow the same curriculum as in any other institutes affiliated with VTU. Most of the faculty members had B.E. and M.Tech background. The practical training in the labs was useful in the curriculum.
Other: The whole college is not great, and I would not suggest for any other students. If you are considering for good placements, this would be a wrong place. Traveling is a problem since you have to wait for the auto to reach the place from the main road, which is about 2 km from the main road.
