 IIAD provides merit-cum-means scholarships to its meritorious and deserving candidates. Students who appear and qualify for iDAT/ iMAT entrance exam will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is also granted based on the Statement of Purpose in the scholarship form as well as the financial need of the student. Apart from that, IIAD has also partnered with new-age education finance companies such as CREDENC and Liquiloans for loan assistance. 

Indian Institute of Art and Design offers BDes in various specialisations for the duration of 4 years. The Institute offers admission to the respective course on the basis of merit and IIAD Entrance Exam. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 in any stream secured from a recognised board. The Institute offers BDes for the total tuition fees worth INR 23.2 Lakh. IIAD Delhi campus offers an annual intake of 160 students.

Those who are willing to get admission to this course, must qualify for an entrance exam. The institute has an in-house entrance exam namely, IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT), which is conducted by IIAD for the selection of candidates in its UG courses from the Designing stream.
