Life at Parul University.
Placements: The lowest package is 6 LPA. Mostly in visual communication, people do freelancing as it is the most paid and easily available income option. During the admission process, I was told that we would get 100% placements through college. Mostly the passout students are pursuing masters.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are tables, chairs, etc. We are not provided with AC in classrooms. ACs are only available in labs. Hostel food quality keeps changing. Sometimes, it's good but on the other hand, we also get sick because of the mess food. We are provided with free hospital facilities, however we have to buy medicine ourselves.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and qualified. They are supportive and calm. Our exams are always conducted in jury form. A jury exam is always helpful from a future perspective. I think that college does make us industry-ready but we also have to work on ourselves then only things get on track.
Other: The reason why I chose this course is because I have always been interested in design. I think visual communication will be the future of India as it is in a growing stage only. The fests and events here are huge and excellent. A recent event that I attended was a fresher's party. Artists that performed here are Sunidhi Chauhan and Badshah. The campus is huge and full of food courts.

Good Infrastructure and Campus Life Full of Events.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placements every year. The average salary is 4-7 LPA. Roles offered after Visual Communication include UI/UX Designer, Animation Artist, VFX Artist, Art Director, etc. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Flipkart, Philips, and Sony.
Infrastructure: Vending machines are available in the hostel and design building. Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs include laser cutting, dyeing, sound editing, and sound recording, to name a few. Top-class labs and a beautiful and artistic campus. Hostel facilities can be improved. Mess food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Classes are interactive, and the teachers demonstrate every assignment. Internships are also provided in the final year of college, making the students industry-ready. Exams are relatively easier as they are graded. Grades are based on assignments and jury.
Other: It is a constantly growing field, which is flourishing in recent years. Compared to entrance examinations like JEE and NEET, the entrance examination for this field is easier. There are multiple job opportunities in this field and it offers a wide range of job posts.

One should really know this first about Parul in 2025.
Placements: So basically, 80% of students get placements through Parul University, and others go into business or freelancing, etc. All the jobs we get here require a final CGPA and SGPA of 8.5 and above so that you get a proper salary for your 4 years of hard work. We even get paid internships from the 2nd year and 4th year. Also, training and internships start from the 2nd semester here. The top roles offered here may be UX/UI designer, Digital Marketing, Graphic Designer, etc.
Infrastructure: In college and even in their campus hostel, we have good quality Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure of the college is too good. Hostels are a bit old-fashioned, and the rooms are smaller, but there are many options for us to select from, like 10-sharing beds to 3-sharing beds. The quality of food given in the hostel may not be like how your mother cooks, but it’s genuinely better than other hostels & mess. We even have sports areas here to play, along with a swimming pool, horse riding, cricket ground, kabaddi, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton play areas.
Faculty: The faculty is damn good and more friendly than your own friends. They have been qualified from well-known colleges, and they teach very well, so we don’t even have to ask them any doubt again. However, even if we ask the same doubt 50 times, the faculty still chooses to be friendly and respond to us every time.

Great college especially for design, affordable, not get satisfied with placement .
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed at Parul University’s design branch this year. The companies provide really good packages starting from an average of 15 LPA. Internships are also provided here, with good stipends as well. There is scope for improvement here, though.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is good. The design building is very well-equipped with top-class computer labs, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi available everywhere in the college. There is no lift in the college of 6 floors. It is hard to walk up the stairs, the hostel is good, with big rooms, but the food is really bad and Wi-Fi is not available from 12 am to 5 am. Wardens behave very rudely.
Faculty: Faculty is great here. They are like your friends and are helpful with both professional and personal problems. They are very knowledgeable and have graduated from great colleges like NID. The teaching method is good, and the curriculum is great as well. They teach almost everything, which gets you ready for the industry.
Other: Course that I'm pursuing is a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design. This course is in high demand and very well-paying. It is something that is needed almost everywhere, the campus life is great, with many events and activities taking place continuously throughout the year. Sometimes I feel that it can be a distraction for some students, but it's great for making connections. Also, a scholarship facility is available.

Good college, but not so great.
Placements: Placements are pretty average in the college. Not many companies come up with good packages. Talked to a senior as well, and she said that she got a job from LinkedIn (she's pretty talented, in my opinion) and that the college doesn't offer much.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is huge and nice, but during summer, you suffer so much because of the lack of trees on the campus. Total show off. Hostels are average, but the food is like any other hostel. Labs are pretty nice in college, though.
Faculty: Teachers during my foundation are not that great, especially my mentor. But the second semester is average, not so productive, but not so bad. The faculty is nice and helpful, but not all of them sound experienced. One of them sounds confused.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue design as a profession. But couldn't get the admission in mid so this was my last option. Fests are great with a lot of celebrities coming. I wish they'd appoint better faculty members, which they could with all the money they have, and not just improve the looks of the campus and cut away trees and install statues for show-off.
