A BA in journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism offers expanding opportunities. However, for strong placement prospects and job opportunities post graduation, opting for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is advisable. These fields open doors to leading IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, CapGemini, with the caveat that your skills and choice of college also significantly impact your career trajectory.

For answering your query, I went through the details of both the colleges and came to the conclusion that both the colleges are well-reputed colleges in this field. B.J. M. C. from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has it's own value and Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore has it's own value. Making a good choice out of these two is in your hands because basically your choice depends on where you live, how do you want your college to be, what plans you have in future, etc. I am a student of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies so I can give you details for this nicely. Our college has shown some great results in this course. Every year there is an intake of maximum number of students and every year students pass with flying colours and with great placements in their hands. The faculty is pretty amazing and there are many societies of students for different activities. Audio Visual Lab is just so cool. The B.J. M. C. students are the organizers of the super amazing fest Spandan. It's a part of their co-curricular activities and they do a great job. The placements and internship opportunities offered through the placement cell are the best for them. So to cut it short, in my opinion, B.J. M. C. would be a better option than a Diploma. You can check on the net about Diploma in broadcast journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore. What I thought was better, I have told you. It's your call now to choose the best of the opportunities available to you.
