Pretty satisfied with IIJNM.

Placements: Out of our batch of 96 almost 50 of us were placed one month before our course was to end. Given the industry standards in that year, our packages were decent for people starting out in the industry. There was some serious competition between students of Broadcast Journalism and Print Journalism particularly but some organisations like TimesNet and Bloomberg chose students from across streams. Some other news organisations to visit our campus were The New Indian Express and we were mostly offere...

Choose IIJNM if you're willing to work hard.

Placements: Placement cell is fair enough. Top companies that come for recruitment are Times Now, Economics Times, Dean Herald, Reuters, Cogencis etc. But for those who are hard-working but are unlucky with placements, IIJNM helps such students through their strong alumni network.

Infrastructure: The campus is located away from the city due to this commuting is a little bit of a problem but there is always college cab for the students. They have every facility in Media Lab and it is accessible to any student till 10 p. m. H...

As an independent institution not affiliated with or run by a single newspaper or media organization, IIJNM is able to maintain a wider association within the industry. With assistance from the college placement department, our students have access to most media organizations for employment opportunities. In the past, practically all our graduates have received one or more job offers from media-related organizations with attractive salaries.

B.J. M. C. from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has it's own value and Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore has it's own value. Making a good choice out of these two is in your hands because basically your choice depends on where you live, how do you want your college to be, what plans you have in future, etc. I am a student of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies so I can give you details for this nicely. Our college has shown some great results in this course. Every year there is an intake of maximum number of students and every year students pass with flying colours and with great placements in their hands. The faculty is pretty amazing and there are many societies of students for different activities. Audio Visual Lab is just so cool. The B.J. M. C. students are the organizers of the super amazing fest Spandan. It's a part of their co-curricular activities and they do a great job. The placements and internship opportunities offered through the placement cell are the best for them. So to cut it short, in my opinion, B.J. M. C. would be a better option than a Diploma. You can check on the net about Diploma in broadcast journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore. What I thought was better, I have told you. It's your call now to choose the best of the opportunities available to you.
