IIMC Jammu PG Diploma Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Jammu offers three PG Diploma courses. These courses include a PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi), a PG Diploma in Journalism (English), and a PG Diploma in Digital Media. The duration of these postgraduate courses is one year. PG Diploma admission at IIMC Jammu is based on the applicants' performance in CUET PG, followed by a counselling process.
According to the IIMC Jammu PG Diploma eligibility criteria, graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for admission. Candidates currently appearing for or awaiting the results of the final examinations of their Bachelor's degree are also eligible for provisional admission. Their admission will be confirmed only if they submit the required documents/certificates proving their eligibility on or before September 30, 2025. The maximum age of candidates as of Aug 1 of the year of admission must be 25 years for the General category, 28 years for the OBC category and 30 years for the SC/ST/PWD category.
IIMC Jammu PG Diploma Fees 2025
The fees for IIMC Jammu courses are payable in two instalments. The first-semester fee includes 50% of the tuition fee, library fee and students’ welfare fund. The remaining 50% of the tuition fee is payable during the second semester. The PG Diploma fee at IIMC Jammu is INR 95,500 for Journalism courses and INR 2.09 lakh for the Digital Media course. PG Diploma admission at the institute is entrance-based. CUET PG in “Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)” is the accepted IIMC entrance exam for PG Diploma admissions. The total tuition fee is almost the same at both the institutes. The total tuition fee for the PG Diploma at IIMC Delhi ranges is between INR 47,000 and INR 2 lakh. At IIMC Jammu it ranges from INR 87,000 to INR 2 lakh. The mentioned fee is as per the official website and is still subject to change.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu branch, is considered a good institution for pursuing PG Diploma courses, but if I have to say which is the best one, I'll definitely go with the IIMC Delhi, as the highest placement was from the Delhi branch with a salary package of a stunning
