IIMC Jammu PG Diploma Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Seats, Admission Process

IIMC Jammu PG Diploma admission is based on the common admission process conducted by IIMC for all its campuses. There are multiple steps included in the process of IIMC Jammu admission. The detailed IIMC Jammu PG Diploma admission process is as follows:

STEP 1: IIMC Jammu PG Diploma Application Process

Candidates seeking PG Diploma admission at IIMC Jammu can apply online through the institute's official website (iimc.gov.in). Alternatively, they can download the application form from the official website and submit it at the institute's admission office. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the preset eligibility criteria for admission. Additionally, aspirants are required to apply for the CUET-PG in “Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)” through the official NTA website.

STEP 2: Merit List Release & Campus Allocation

Once the CUET-PG result is declared by the NTA, IIMC releases a merit list of shortlisted candidates on its official website. Such candidates are required to fill out a counselling form indicating their desired campuses and courses in the order of their preferences. The seat allocation is based on merit-cum-preference. A list of candidates to be provisionally admitted to each course and at each campus is published on the IIMC website.

STEP 3: Fee Payment & Centralised Registration Process

Selected candidates must confirm their admission within seven days by submitting the applicable IIMC Jammu fees along with the required documents. After the provisional admission, a centralised registration process is conducted at IIMC for document verification. For this, candidates must bring a printout of the NIC application filled out during the registration with parents' signature on it. After the verification of documents, an admission slip is issued to candidates which marks the last step in the admission process.
