It is good in terms of academics, but the infrastructure needs to improve.

Placements: There are no such things as placements in medical colleges. After 4 years, we have to do a compulsory 1-year internship in our hospital. Our hospital gets a very high patient inflow, which is very good for interns. We get Rs. 11,000 per month as per MUHS rule.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. The main building is a bit old. We will be getting a new building that is equipped with all the facilities. The building is almost 90% complete. The labs are well maintained. Hostels are also decent and new. Boys...

Good college in teaching, campus facility is not that great, facility and infrastructure is decent.

Placements: There is nothing like placement in medical college. You can practice in your clinic as per your wish and you will earn decent earning not too high nor too less For government jobs, you need to apply on their vacancies, for that you need to be updated. College posts their vacancies on their site or you can get it in newspaper. Internship is hectic but it is helpful for becoming a good doctor. Stipend offered is around 11k per month.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in my college is decent. Some instruments are old but are usable. It's all about using it effectively for understanding concepts. We have well-equipped lab which has decent facilities. There is library with Wi-Fi available with ample amount of books. Hostel facility is good compare to other GMC. First year hostel, is Jawahar hostel which is old but with decent facility. Hostels from second year are very good (New boys hostel). There is 24*7 electricity and water facility. Mess fac...

Review of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur.

Placements: After graduation, students can directly get a job as a medical officer, popularly known as MO in this college itself or their home district. Many of them though do not go for MOship directly and rather prepare for PG entrance. The starting salary for a government MOship ranges from Rs 70,000 to 1 LPA.

Infrastructure: Although most of the buildings in this college are new, the hospital is an old standard, and some of the wards are in very break-down condition. The campus area is also not very large and does not b...

It is the best government college, with good teachers and courses.

Placements: This is a government medical college, so once you pass out, you have to give a national level exam to do PG. Government Medical College has nothing to do with placements. The faculty of every department try to produce good doctors. It is on the students to do their best.

Infrastructure: It has a good hostel, and water supply is good. Lighting is good. Ventilation is good. Surroundings are clean. The staff wash the floors regularly. The warden is not so helpful in solving the hostel issues, and he doesn't visit a...

There are really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Doctor roles are offered in society. The stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 12,000 per month and Rs. 85,000 per month. All students have to do an internship from this course. In one batch, there are 200 students. The top role is students can be a medical practitioner in any field.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are the best in Maharashtra. The food served in the mess is average. Sports and games are best available on our college premises. Library services are very good with maximum books. Good food is serv...

It is a good college with the best infrastructure. The only problem is bad roads.

Placements: Everyone is bound to the internship, the final PG seat is depended on your score on the NETT PG examination or NEXT (for future batches). The college is a government hospital so the patient flow is excellent, and postings can be very useful. There is no concept of placement in MBBS in government colleges.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the hostel is excellent and beyond expectations for a government college and an MBBS student. The only problem is currently there is no mess for the boys' hostel and a few...

Knowledgeable and skilled faculty with appropriate infrastructure and facilities .

Placements: I'm current a third year student of 2018 batch. After completing MBBS course, every student does 1 year internship in college with stipend. After this they can open their private clinic or get to do pist graduation. So placement rate is 100 percent .

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good with adequate capacity, spacious rooms, well-equipped bathrooms that are cleaned daily. They have separate area for studying and mess has hygienic and tasty food. The college infrastructure is a bit old but up to the...

It is a nursery, shaping young brains and creating excellent doctors and good human beings.

Placements: All our batchmates had gone on to pick good specialty courses in reputed hospitals, across the nation and abroad. Some were pursuing civil services and some others were serving the deprived sections of the society. Our alma mater had indeed shaped students to be the good doctors that people look up to.

Infrastructure: It provides big library with an e-library and one of the biggest on-campus reading rooms that I have seen. Wi-Fi was enabled, two big lecture halls apart from department-wise teaching rooms were av...
