Both of these colleges are equally good. It depends on which course one chooses and the main factor to look out for is connectivity. INSD Mumbai, Mulund has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
UG Diploma	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board.
M.FTech	Candidate must be a graduate from recognised university.
M.Des	Candidate must be a graduate from recognised university.
Certificate	Candidate must have passed 10th from recognised board.
PG Diploma	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board.
B.Des	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Design: M.Des (Master of Design) Candidates must have successfully completed any of the following: Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognized by law in India or undergraduate Diploma of minimum three year’s duration from NIFT/ NID.
