There is no facilities to take admission in IEM from IEMJEE. This exam is conducted for admission in IEM. But from this year IEM is autonomous now and may be IEM WILL start take admission from IEMJEE. Otherwise for admission in IEM u have to score good rank in WBJEE or in JEE Main. So, cut off is decided is not decided yet.

After getting the result candidate must attend counseling program by selecting desired colleges that the candidate want to join. After counseling email or SMS that you are eligible to join in particular university that already selected by the candidate before counseling. The best course that gives more placements is obviously BBA or MBA due to high demand.

As I am an ex student of IEM so I know that they provides best education and also they are offering multiple job opportunities to the students every year since 1989. the highest placement record and the highest percentage of placement happening every year comparing with other colleges. IEM have a very good industry exposure, sending their students to MNCs for internships and industrial trainings. IEM is very strict to maintain their discipline as a student must have to keep very good attendance. Recently they have tied up with amazon and top 5 companies like Tcs, wipro, cognizant, accenture, capgemini are recruits a huge number students every year with exciting salary packages. Many more companies are there also for Management students. So as an Engineering and Management college IEM is the best from the best of my knowledge.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. The admission of candidates to the courses offered by IEM Kolkata is done on the basis of scores obtained in the IEM Joint Entrance Exam (IEMJEE). For admission to the B.Tech programme, the selection is done through IEMJEE scores and Admission to the M.Sc programme is through JAM/ PGET/ IEMJEE scores. For MBA, admissions are done on the basis of rank secured in CAT/JEMAT or IEMJEE. The shortlisted students have to appear for counseling. Final selection is based on the performance in the GD, PI and counseling rounds.
