There seems to be some confusion between "NIT" (National Institutes of Technology) and "Narula Institute of Technology," which are quite different. Here's clarification:1. *NIT (National Institutes of Technology):* These are excellent government-funded engineering institutes in India, and admission typically is through national-level entrance exams like *JEE Main*. Direct admission to NIT is not possible since they follow strict merit-based admission.2. *Narula Institute of Technology (Narula):* This is an engineering private college in West Bengal, India. This institute accepts students through the state entrance exams such as *WBJEE* and national-level entrance exams such as *JEE Main*. In some instances, private institutes like Narula will directly admit under management quota or via other modes if seats are open. For direct admission possibilities at Narula Institute of Technology, try the following:- Visit the Shiksha website- Check for updates on management quota or spot admission availability.Direct admission in NITs is not possible without a JEE Main score.
