A fun campus life and good facilities .

Placements: They do offer internships to you; if you're capable and able to crack interviews by firms that are introduced to you, you will definitely get internship opportunities. Interviews are held on campus only so you don't have to visit somewhere else. You can definitely go to this institution.

Infrastructure: Facilities are nice, I would say. As an interior design student, we don't need many facilities. Just the basic needs and they are there. But for fashion design students, sewing machines and everything else are there. For us, we need to carry our own laptop, as we have to work on that only.

Faculty: I'll be honest, we had good faculty members when I first joined. The first year was very smooth but then 2 of our good teachers left and now only 2 teachers are left for the interior department. I hope this changes over time and that future students get to learn from more than 2 teachers as well.

Other: My final exams are going on currently and I'll be passed out then. Overall, my experience with INSD was very nice! I have created a lot of memories here and if I talk about the institution, I think it's quite safe to join.

The journey in this college is beautiful.

Placements: I'm in an advanced diploma course that doesn't provide placement. But students are offered internships and training under good brands like Mark's and Spencer's, Benetton, PC Chandra, Fashion L, etc. Currently, I am pursuing the course, and I am looking forward to getting trained under good companies.

Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, sewing machines as required by students. There is also a small library. Hostel or canteen facilities are not available. Classrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated as it is a fashion college. Only vegetarian food is served on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are excellent and very well qualified and helpful. They are very hardworking and are very cooperative. They work hard and pay attention to every student's need. The course includes industrial visits which give a good impression to students about the field of work.

Other: As it is a fashion college, we have Couture Week, Asian Designer Week, and Kids Fashion week. We also have seminars, industrial visits, and workshops. The location of our college is very convenient as it is well connected to Bidhan Nagar Station and Ultadanga Bus stand is also to the places nearby.

It is the best design college in Kolkata, and I am very happy for being a part of this college.

Placements: Since I am still pursuing my course (masters in fashion designing and technology), so I don't know proper information about placements. However, our institute provides 100% training and placement assistance from more than 30 training and placement partners and makes students industry-ready. So, I am sure if I give my 100% and work hard, then our institute definitely will provide me with good placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our institute is really good, and there are air-conditioned classrooms. Our institute is well maintained with modern technology and equipment. Students will get all the facilities which they would need. Right now, we are attending online classes. I am waiting for the situation to get better, so the institute will conduct offline classes as before.

Faculty: The teachers of our institute are very kind, friendly and helpful. They are also very much knowledgeable and would always clear the doubts of students which they have. Their teaching technique is very easy and modern. Although we are attending online classes right now, we never faced any problem or hesitation to learn about practical work.

It has very good infrastructure and facilities. Teachers are very good and helpful.

Placements: I am still pursuing a master's in design and technology, which is a two years course. There are many placement partners offered by the institution, such as Marks and Spencers, JJ Valaya, Fashion Land, AU Finja and many others.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of the institution are good. Classrooms are well-equipped with all the materials which are needed for classes. There is no hostel or mess on the college campus. Now due to the covid situation, online classes are going on.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated, very good and helpful. Whenever there is a problem or doubt to any student, they are always available to solve it. They make sure that every student understands what is taught in the class and also provide notes and other study materials. They make us ready for the industry to work.

I am totally satisfied with the college and course, and the faculty members are very great.

Placements: A maximum number of students got placed in INSD. The top recruiting companies are Vogue, Benetton, Fashion Land, Marks and spencer, JJ Valaya Couture etc. All the students got their internships from my course. Top roles offered in my course are fashion illustrator, fashion consultant, personal stylist, assistant designer, costume designer etc.

Infrastructure: In INSD, we have a very good and peaceful environment. We have free Wi-Fi in our college. We have air-conditioned laboratories, and we have stitching machines, mannequins etc. We have medical facilities and a canteen, and they are quite good.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They give their best to teach a student and know how to bring out their talent and nurture them. The faculty members are very cooperative with their students. They give their time and suggestions after our class. This course surely makes students ready for this industry.

Other: I chose fashion designing because I just like to draw fashionable illustrations and clothes to wear fashionably. I like to bring out my fashion sense and creativity for everyone.
