ISBR Law College Admission 2026: Eligibility, Application, Dates, Fee

ISBR Law College does offers admission without entrance exam to PG Diploma and Certificate courses. Aspirants need to pass the ISBR Aptitude Test conducted by the institute for admission to BBA LLB and LLB programmes. Selected candidates also need to come for the personal interview round for all the courses.

ISBR conducts an aptitude test to selects candidates for admission to BBA LLB and LLB programmes of ISBR Law College. The test is conducted in pen & paper and computer-based mode for one hour. The test includes multiple-choice questions. Aspirants selected based on scores in the test are further called for a personal interview round.

ISBR Law College offers admission based on Merit, ISBR Aptitude Test/ CLAT and Personal Interview. Candidates must apply online for the preferred course. Based on the result of ISBR Aptitude test or CLAT scores, candidates are selected for admission. Further, the BBA LLB integrated level degree programme has a first-year fee of INR 70 K which totals INR 4.2 Lakh for the 5 years. The cost of postgraduate diploma/certificate courses varies between INR 25 K and INR 60 K. Certificate courses are also available for INR 25 K only.

ISBR Law College offers two certificate courses-Certificate in Human Rights and Certificate in Constitutional Law. Admission to certificate courses is merit-based. Candidates need to complete Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board to apply for certificate programmes.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 or PUC or equivalent with a minimum of 45% aggregate. Hence, aspirants with 65% in Class 12 can apply for BBA LLB programme. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for SC/ ST candidates. Aspirants who have passed qualifying exam PUC or Class 12 in single sitting or open university exam are not eligible for admission to five-year BBA LLB course.

In order to take admission in BBA LLB courses at ISBR Law College, it is advisable to have a CLAT score within the range of 80-120 which translates to a percentile of 60-85. Nevertheless, cutoffs differ from year to year. For instance, in the year 2023, the CLAT cutoff for ISBR was 90 for the General category, 80 for the Other Backward Classes and 70 for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes respectively. Obtaining a higher score such as above 120 increases chances of obtaining the scholarship as well as early admission.

Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 for each course of ISBR Law College. Aspirants can pay the fee via any of the online payment modes.
