It is the best diploma college in Telangana.

Placements: Our college had not provided many placements as most of the students continued to pursue higher studies. Only a few students got placed in our college. The highest, average, and lowest salary packages offered range between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Sai Life Sciences and HMEL. All students got 6 months of internship as per the curriculum in companies like Neuland Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, NFC, IICT, PET, and Aurore Pharmaceuticals. Top roles offered in our course were technician and executive.

Infrastructure: Our college had an Indira block for chemical engineering. Smart classrooms were available in our college. There was no Wi-Fi in our college. Our college had labs like fluid mechanics, mass transfer, heat transfer, and energy technology. Our college had a vast library for all departments. The hostel was very good as it was recently built due to the deterioration of the old hostel building. Our canteen was very basic. The mess facility was good. Our college provided first aid facilities. Our college provided sports and games like volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, and shotput.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They were very well-versed in their subjects. The course curriculum was very relevant and showed the industrial approach. Semester exams were not difficult as we used to refer to curriculum and textbooks. Almost 90% of students passed their exams.

Other: I opted for this course because I got allotted to this course through TS Polycet. The best thing about our course is that chemical engineering is the core of everything. Our college should improve the course to get the best experimental approach. Our college conducts fests like a fresher party, etc., once a year. Our college provides government scholarships to students. The campus is crowded with students, and it is surrounded by greenery.

It is the only college for a diploma in chemical engineering in Telangana.

Placements: As it is a polytechnic college, there aren't many campus placements. The highest salary package is 4 LPA, the average is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The companies that recruit students here are HMEL and some regional pharmaceutical companies. All students get 6-month internships in companies like BHEL, IICT, NFC, CPET, Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, Neuland Pharmaceuticals, and Sai Life Sciences. The top role offered is technician.

Infrastructure: We have a separate campus for chemical engineering. All the classrooms are digital. We have a chemistry workshop, a physics lab, a fluid mechanics lab, a heat transfer lab, a mass transfer lab, and a general chemical technology lab. We also have a library with core and non-core books and journals. The hostel is good in terms of infrastructure and food. There is no canteen. We have basic first-aid kit. We play sports and games like kabaddi, badminton, cricket, shotput, volleyball, and kho-kho.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are all well qualified, with Ph.D.s and M.Tech. degrees. They teach well. The curriculum is very easy and helps in a way that we can get industrial exposure. The semester exams are very easy if we follow the curriculum. The pass percentage is 95%.

Other: I got admission after the POLYCET exam, and I chose this course from the allotment. This course is about how a thing is made or produced. There should be more experimental exposure to concepts. We have a festival every year. The campus is full of trees. It is connected to the busiest route in the city. We got scholarships from the government of Telangana. Extracurricular activities are conducted by students.

Placements: A few students get placed in our college. A few companies visit our college to recruit students like HMEL and Sai Life Sciences. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Our college does not provide good placements. Our college provides internships in Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, Neuland Pharmaceuticals, NFC, IICT, CPET, and BHEL for 6 months. Top roles offered are executive and technician.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our campus has a vast ground and two buildings. Our college has smart classrooms with basic facilities. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Our college has a library, and it contains many course-related books, journals, general books, and newspapers. The hostel facilities are valuable. The food served in the hostel is good. The canteen is not available in our college as we have to go out to buy food or anything. There is basic first aid in our college. Our college provides us with sports and games facilities like cricket, kabaddi, badminton, kho-kho, shotput, and volleyball.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All teachers are postgraduates in their subjects. They are much knowledgeable. They teach very efficiently and practically. The course curriculum is much more relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in it. The best thing about our course is it shows what goes into making any material which is very insightful and exhilarating. Our college should provide a more industrial approach to improve this course. Annual fest and freshers' parties are conducted in our college. Our campus crowd is more. Our college has many students from different courses. Our campus is surrounded by trees. Extracurricular activities are conducted by students. Our college provides government scholarships of Rs.5000 every year.

Placements: Top companies come to our college for placements. Companies like Blue Star, MRF, Daikin, etc., have recruited about 25% of the students. Many of our classmates got recruited with a good salary package. It is a good placement college. The management is not focusing on the placements as years pass.

Infrastructure: The campus is located on 21 acres of land, providing a peaceful atmosphere for the students and facilitating its role as a learning center. It has spacious classrooms and drawing halls. It has well-equipped laboratories. It has a library with good volumes of standard books, journals, and magazines. It has a playground with indoor and outdoor games equipment. E-classrooms facilitate e-teaching methodologies with multimedia projectors in each classroom. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit is available for both girls and boys. It has Wi-Fi facilities for staff and students. It has individual hostels for boys and girls with a hygienic and tidy environment. They are protected by a full compound wall and watched over for 24 hours. They have a continuous purified drinking water supply. For better monitoring, camera coverage is enabled in every classroom.

Faculty: There are highly qualified and experienced faculty. The student-faculty ratio is 25:1. Biometric attendance in and out is being monitored daily for students and staff. Academic Advisory Board meetings will be held twice in the academic year to improve the quality of teaching. Students' performance in class tests and final exams is tracked through onscreen digital evaluation systems. Grievance Cell is monitored by experienced faculty to solve any grievances of students. Parent-teacher meetings are arranged to get in contact with the parents of the ward about his performance in the institute. Counselling programs are conducted by faculty members.

Other: Anti-ragging cells or squads are made for the purpose of curbing the menace of ragging. Extracurricular activities such as cultural activities including classical dance, singing, etc., and co-curricular activities such as sports, and indoor and outdoor games are encouraged on special occasions. Discipline and punctuality are monitored for the overall development of the student into a better citizen of the nation tomorrow. There is a provision to watch MOOCs courses through Swayam. Swatch Bharat is conducted on the fourth Saturday of every month. They need to promote excellence in technical education in collaboration with the industry. They need to impart to students a value-based technical education with the best practical skills. They need to ensure that the students excel with good academic discipline and professional competency to cater to today's industry needs. They need to inculcate teamwork and work with spirit using modern technological tools.

Absolutely satisfied because of everything in our college.

Placements: Almost every student in our college got placed in campus placements. All the courses are offered in our college, and printing technology is the newly introduced course with affordable fees. The college is the best one not only in placements but in every aspect.

Infrastructure: Being an ancient university, the infrastructure is a little old but still good. It has been renewed with this modern technology. All the facilities are very well provided to the students studying here. The mess food is the best advantage in our college, and all the boarders here enjoy the food.

Faculty: All the teachers here are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is tough but can be done according to the skills of students.

Other: JN Government Polytechnic is not only famous by its name but also its academics, so I chose it. I will be valued in off-campus placements, and I can get placed in a good company.

Candidate should be a citizen of India. Candidates must have passed 10th level Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of SecondaryEducation (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates must have passed in all subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for 10th or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2024. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024. Working Employee candidate should bring NOC from the respective organizations.
