Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences (JIMS) is located at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The admissions to the institute are open now. It was established under Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society and has been imparting quality education in different programmes from the past 25 years. It is an AICTE-approved Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP) and a training partner of Media and Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) for conducting BVoc programmes in partnership with Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh.
The Institute conducts Bachelor’s Degree programs in the field of Management (BBA), Information Technology (BCA), Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC), Hotel Management & Tourism and Interior Design. JIMS Admission Process 2023: Fast Facts
The admission in all courses is purely on merit and the candidates are required to take JET (JIMS Entrance Test) followed by personal interview.
The written /online test for all the courses, other than Interior Design and Mass Communication, is divided into the following sections:
- English: Verbal Ability & Verbal Reasoning
- Maths: Quantitative Ability
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
The students appearing for Interior Design Course undergo a Design Aptitude Test where the students are tested on their ability to create design using different shapes, Poster design and sketching.
The students appearing for Mass Communication are tested on their writing skills pertaining to media professional skills.
Note: The students who have qualified in any of the competitive exams like IP University (CET) and UGAT entrance tests are exempt from appearing in JET. Such rank holders admission will be on the basis of personal interview only.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview based on marks obtained in the JIMS Entrance Test (JET). The candidates are ultimately selected based on their overall performance in Personal Interview and JIMS Entrance Test (JET).
JIMS BVoc Admission 2023
JIMS offers BVoc in five specialisations at undergraduate level. Its course duration is three years. Admission to Interior Design is granted based on a valid score obtained in DAT whereas for admission to the remaining programmes, students must undergo JET conducted by the institute.

2. Select your preferred course and fill in other details
3. Provide your academic details correctly and proceed further
4. Read all the instructions carefully and conclude the application form by paying the application fee of Rs 1000 through debit card/ credit card/ net banking
The step-wise application process (offline) is given below:
1. Students can download the application form from the institute's official website
2. Fill the application form and self-attest the photocopies of certificates of qualifying exam and two passport-size photographs
3. Send the filled-in form along with all the relevant documents with a DD of Rs 1000 drawn in favor of “Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences,” payable at Delhi

Yes. Mathematics is not a compulsory subject in class 12th to be eligible for admission into BCA course. You must have passed class from any of the stream. Therefore, you do not require Mathematics for admission in BCA.
