Selection of a B-School is based on various parameters- candidate score, profile, faculty, exposure, placements, etc. As a student of JBIMS, I can say that JBIMS is one of the top B-Schools in India.

The detailed cut-offs could be checked at DTE website. There is a lower cut-off but it still goes above 99.5 percentile, so prepare well! All the best!

The admission process for year 2018 has not been decided however in the year 2017 it was through CET.
Comparing colleges is subjective, choose your own judgement, but surely as a student of JBIMS I can say it is among the top colleges of India.

Yes, by scoring well in entrance exams - MMS CET, profile can have impact at a later stage during the MBA program but not in the entrance.

Admission for the current year are over. For admission to JBIMS please keep checking JBIMS and DTE website. Additionally consult a student who is preparing actively for entrance exams or look at various forums of classes like TIME, IMS etc.

Both institutes are premiere B-Schools of India. NMIMS is much known for marketing and JBIMS much known for finance. But MBA/MMS in any discipline from either institute is good. Both institutes are in Mumbai and industry exposure for students

Which course do you wish to apply for?
For MMS you are eligible. You have to appear for CET 2018 and the admission process is done by DTE.

Yes in DTE process is also there in All India candidate quota which accept all exam scores (CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc). As they accept so many exams for only 18 to 20 all India seats, cutoff goes too high. Cutoff is 99.99 percentile (for all exams
