On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What can students do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

Satisfactory infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Jhulelal Institute of Technology is an autonomous college. It provides degrees in various courses. I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in AIML. The placement rate of our college is average. I have completed 2 years of my degree, but have not seen a high placement rate. The TCS company mostly visits, and apart from that, training companies visit more than internship companies. The highest package is between 4–5 LPA, and the average is 2.5 to 3 LPA. The placement ratio of the CSE and Electrical branches is better compared to other branches. However, our faculty members do provide training programs.
Infrastructure: Actually, our college does not provide hostel facilities. It does not have its own hostel. Talking about facilities and infrastructure, it is average. It has two buildings. The first is the main building, which has the examination area, the admin department, the office, and the first-year department. On the ground floor is the CSE department. On the first floor, EC-ACT and MBA. On the second floor, AIML. The second building has the Electrical and Mechanical departments and the library. A lift facility is only available in the second building. Both buildings have clean water coolers working 24/7, weak Wi-Fi, and computers that do not work properly. The canteen is in front of the main building, but the food quality is poor.
Faculty: The teaching quality is neither good nor bad. It is average. Most faculty are inexperienced and freshers. Teaching is not very strong, and students cannot fully depend on the college faculty for technical skills. Technical subjects are minimal, and soft skills subjects are included in the course. Industry visits are conducted once every two months. Semester exams are not very difficult and include 30 or 60-mark written exams based on subject credit. Passing requires 35% per subject. It includes assignments, internal, and external assessments. Overall, exam stress is minimal.
Other: The college has various forums that encourage students to actively participate in extracurricular activities. They also provide incentive marks for them. Students organize events by themselves. The college faculty provides funding. Cultural fests, technical events, and sports events are organized by students themselves. This helps build leadership qualities in students.

The honest review of my college.
Placements: In the year 2025, I only see two placement drives in my college that will be conducted by the training and placement department, and only a few people are getting placed. The college is good, but it can improve itself in areas like the labs and teachers' experience.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels in my college, Jhulelal Institute of Technology, and the courses are also not very useful for B.Tech students, like NPTEL courses, etc. These aren't necessary for B.Tech or B.E. students. They should provide AI or ML-related courses.
Faculty: They should improve the labs in the department, improve the faculty, and give students more exposure to the industry. Overall, the exams are very tough, and the level of strictness is very high, and the internal practical exam is also difficult.
Other: I think my college should provide hostel and bus facilities. It has old facilities, but this is only for the first year because it becomes expensive for the second and third years.

In my opinion, it's a good college in the Nagpur area.
Placements: Placements in our college are good but not excellent. More than 70 percent of students are placed during placement campus drives. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest average is 4 LPA. Some top recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc. Internships are provided for all the students, not only from the college but also from outside.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good, and all the facilities are available on campus regarding your branch. Labs are available anytime with experienced lab assistants, and Wi-Fi connectivity is also good. Libraries are well-stocked and always available. Hostel facilities are excellent, with a neat and clean campus. The canteen provides nice food of good quality, and the rates are also cheap.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified professionals, and their teaching quality is also good. There are no drawbacks in their teaching skills. In this course, students do not become fully industry-ready, but they become intermediate in getting ready for the industry. For semester exams, you have to work at least one month before exams, and the passing criteria are 45 percent.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is good, and I am comfortable with it. Some things the college has to improve are providing better sports facilities and addressing some ragging issues, though not much.

Absolutely perfect for new students who want to take IT in Nagpur.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good, and the ratio is also high for students to get placed in this course. Mostly, students get placed in this course, around 70-80 per cent get placed. The highest package offered in our course is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies which came to our college are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and many others. Internships are provided in our college, but in the last year of the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good, all the facilities are available on campus regarding your branch. Labs are available anytime with experienced lab assistants. Wi-Fi connectivity is also good. Libraries are well-stocked and always available. Hostel facilities are excellent, with a neat and clean campus. The canteen provides nice food of good quality, and the rates are also cheap.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and cooperative with students. They are highly qualified, like PhDs, and have deep knowledge of their subjects. The academic curriculum is well-designed, covering all important topics and making students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult if you prepare well, but if you want only passing marks, you have to score more than 44 percent to pass.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum of this course is good, and I’m comfortable with it. Some things the college has to improve are providing better sports facilities and addressing some ragging issues, though not much.

I do not know about placement in 2025. The college is good, and the faculty members are also good.
Placements: College says 74 percent of students are placed on campus. I do not think there are fewer than 60 percent that are placed. The highest package that is offered is 12 LPA and the average package offered is 1.2 LPA. Mainly TCS is the top one percent company that hires students. College does not offer internship. We have to find the internship ourselves as a trainee engineer, as I know, and the one who got the highest LPA is a senior software engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities are pretty good. The infrastructure is also good, but it did not work properly. Classroom is good, library is small. Computer labs have many computers. Many of them did not work properly. College did not have its own hostel. The canteen is so small, and the food they provide is so cheap.
Faculty: The one thing in college that is good is its faculty members. The teaching facilities and the staff are also good and friendly. Semester exams are easy to pass. 60 is the pass percentage. When you are giving a paper, a guy called Chandu comes to check that you have not cheated.
Other: College is pretty good for students who want to study, and the placement is also good. The college has a main event called Jallosh, and it’s a 2-day event. 1st day is a traditional day, and 2nd is the main day when they perform dance.

College have a good infrastructure, healthy canteen food and the faculty is supportive.
Placements: Placements come in the college every year and at least they get 2 to 3 students. There are 2 to 3 companies visiting our college, and they get the students of 7th and 8th semester students. That’s why the college is excellent for placements and study purpose.
Infrastructure: Food of canteen is posh and healthy infrastructure is good to study and the campus is small but enough best basketball court cricket ground badminton court and the sports is good and the faculty is very helpful and supportive never let down us and the watchman and all other non teaching staff also supportive .
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, punctual to time. If anyone has to skip the class for some personal reasons, mam accepts that and teaches again. They are too supportive for us; that’s why we have to study in that college and better study is given to us.
