A Good enough University for Architecture.
Placements: The highest stipend offered this year was 7.5k this year. We do have internships offered throughout the course period though. Since it is architecture so it's sort of expected to be low in the beginning. Placement cell isn't the finest in our university. There's not much you can expect in terms of placement because it is not an engineering course.
Infrastructure: Library is really good and so is the faculty and overall course structure. It is not bad, it's a good college. There's no hostel provided. Canteen is under construction and it would be ready soon enough. We have a sports room for indoor games like table tennis, etc.
Faculty: The semester exams are average. The course structure is good enough and the faculty is pretty good and ready to help out students. We have a lot of trips for documentation for classes. The course curriculum is pretty relevant only for a few subjects, overall it's average.

College is not huge, but pleasant is more.
Placements: Placements are low and mainly jobs are from outside the college. Opportunities are from outside firms. The lowest packages 2 Lacs and the highest is 4lakh. Junior architects, Principal architects are the jobs role.100 percentage students get internships and with good performance.
Infrastructure: Smart classes and fine faculty and administration and playground is small. Hostel facility is avai5from 1st year and it is far away around 5kms from college. And college hostel is not well-equipped. Hostel fee is very low and it provides only B.Ed and water.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and exams are also fine and passing in exam as easy as most are practical. Exams are at the same college as it is autonomous college. At the final year students are trained for internship. Pass percentage is 50 percentage means grade.

Not really good at infrastructure and facilities but best at its faculty.
Placements: Placements in our college is not 100% sure. The students may get placed or not and it depends. Though, to my acknowledgement my super seniors were placed at good companies with good packages. 50-60 % students were placed before pandemic. In our course the students are placed in various roles such as Junior Architects, Interior Designers and many more related to design.
Infrastructure: Though it is a government university, it does not seem like an university at all. There is a small ground which is used for parking vehicles mostly by outsiders. And besides this small ground there is no other ground in the university. There is no Wi-Fi available for students to work. There is no canteen for now, but it is in construction and may be opened by 2023. And coming to hostels, there is only one boys hostel for the university. But keeping these aside the best thing that university provides us is with the Library. The JNAFAU library is one of the best library in Hyderabad which provides us with every journal, research papers, books etc.
Faculty: Another best thing about JNAFAU is that it has best and experienced faculty. The teachers are much experienced and friendly with students. The teaching quality is very good and faculty helps students a lot. But the students should also be in self learning module, since all the teachers don't make it every day to each and every student about doubts and works. The students should indulge and work. Self learning and studying is important. One thing which lacks in curriculum is that the students don't have much practical knowledge. The faculty are unable to take students to regular case studies and site visits. The semester exams are difficult if we don't study.

It is the only college in India with good infrastructure and library at such a low cost.
Placements: Placements are not be considered in any architecture college. It all depends on the individual's portfolios. However, we can apply for any firm in the world. Companies like L&T and other local firms visit the campus. Top role offered is an architect and it may vary based on the specialisations.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is extremely good as it is an architectural college the design and all were nice. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are digitalised & there is an extraordinary library in south India. The main thing is that the college hostel isn't that good and it's far away from the college. Canteen is under construction. Sports facilities are good enough. Overall the infrastructure is decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely supportive and encouraging. They are highly qualified in their streams. The course curriculum is completely fine with practical training and site visits and trips. Semester exams are a bit tough though we can go through them. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I opted for this course because architecture itself is a unique and creative course. The college hostel and ground are missing mainly. Events and fests are prior to every festival. Scholarships are provided based on region and percentage.

Our field is good, but less salary packages are offered in it compared to engineering.
Placements: In the architecture, none of the companies would decide your talent by your academic percentage. Companies will interview us, and if they like our skills, they will recruit us. The lowest salary package offered varies from 2.5 LPA-3.0 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Genesis, Godrej, etc. Roles offered in our course are planning, designing and execution of any construction site. It is a 5 years course, and there will be a study for 4 years in college. We should do an internship in the 5th year as it is compulsory.
Infrastructure: The worst thing about our college infrastructure is there is no hostel on the campus as it is somewhere far away from campus, i.e., in Abids. Our college has one of the worst maintained hostels, and none of the students would try to join there. The food is not served in the hostel as it is only for accommodation. The library in our college is excellent as it is one of the top 5 architecture libraries in Asia. There will be a lot of collection of books in the library, and we can borrow books also.
Faculty: There are most experienced faculty members in our college as it is one of the oldest colleges, i.e., it was established before independence. They are helpful.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is different from normal engineering, which is a professional and creative field. I wish that our college should conduct workshops and site visits frequently as students will come to know the things practically. The fee is very less, i.e., only Rs.20,000 per annum. Our college organises some fests like Manasara, etc.

The college is not that great, but it is average.
Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary offered in our course is Rs. 15,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. DFL is the top recruiting company of our course. Top roles, like an architect, planner and designer, are offered to the students. Almost 90% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like canteen, lobby and two labs. I do not stay in the hostel. We don't have scope to play games as it doesn't provide a playground. Food served in the canteen is good. The college provides a sports room where we play only indoor games.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are helpful, but some are not helpful. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers teaching quality is good. Some teachers conduct private tuitions, and we are charged to attend those classes.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in construction. The best thing about our course is the way of study is different. I wish the college should provide software coaching from the first semester. In earlier days, the college used to organise a lot of fests, but not now.

Life at School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi.
Placements: Placements take place in March-April. Many big companies from all over the city and surrounding NCR region come to hire Architecture graduates and post-graduates. A list is given out to all the juniors (prepared by the senior-most batch, based on their own experiences) of the places where they could find better work. Many graduates do not take part in placements as their goal is to complete Masters. Approximately 60% M.Arch graduates from our college get placed over a period of 2 weeks of placements. The highest salary for 2017-18 placements was Rs. 40,000, the average being Rs. 25,000. The role offered is of a junior architect, junior planner in government jobs, city planner, and landscape architect.
Infrastructure: There are separate buildings for Masters students and Architecture students. The Planning studios are near the Hostel facility, with the Architecture building a walking distance from the Hostels. There are air-conditioned libraries in both the Planning and Architecture blocks, open from Monday to Saturday. The studios in both the blocks are big enough to accomodate the students in each section. There are doctors who visit the campus to take care of students' mental health, and talk to students who might be feeling depressed or dejected (this is a new provision to prevent unforeseen incidents), and a general practitioner in the Hostel at all times. The quality of food provided in canteens is not that good, though they sometimes provide street food (on the days of the college fest: Utopia) and the quality of food provided in the Hostel Mess is better than that provided by many other colleges.
Faculty: The School of Planning and Architecture is well-known for being the oldest institute for Planning and Architecture graduates. The people realted to this institute have been integral in shaping many of the policies related to building and environment design in our country. There are about a 100 permanent faculty members, and 200 visiting faculty for a student body of 1200. Every wednesday, special lectures are organised so that the students can get exposure from expert in the field. The 5 years at SPA are said to be life-changing for the students because of the great faculty, amazing exposure and unique environment of the college.
Other: The college is a stone's throw from the ITO metro station on the Violet Line on the Delhi Metro. It is well connected by road, and is located in the heart of the city, wih bustling roads and pathways surrounding it. Some landmarks include the Delhi Police Headquarter building, the INSA building (in the shape of an X), the IMA building and the Institute for Chartered Accountants. There is a fest every semester, for students to let go and enjoy for a week. There is Mini-Utopia in the odd semester, and Utopis fest in the even semester. There are several clubs where students can showcase their talents: Spandan, the drama club; Spokes, the cycling club; Coda and Sankalp, the music clubs; Muse, the writing club and the SPA Triangle, the newspaper society. Students can even create a new club if they feel that their brand of creativity has gone unrepresented in the mix of culture and language that is the SPA life!

Satisfied with the academic facilities but a little dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: The placements have been happening for the last five years. The different local and national firms will appear for the placements. In every batch, most of the students get selected through the placements. The placements will happen not only based on the academics but also consider our quality of work.
Infrastructure: The college has two main academic blocks, one auditorium, one canteen, stationery, sports rooms, seating areas, exhibition halls etc. But the canteen is small, and don't have enough play area, and also don't have enough parking place. A few landscape area and good interaction spaces are there on the campus.
Faculty: This college offers B.Arch, B.Design, B.Plan FSP, DTDP, animation, painting, photography, and sculpture. The faculty members in this college are creative, talented, and experienced. There will be good interaction between the students and the faculty. Every course will have its importance.
Other: A college fest called Manasara will be celebrated every year in this college grandly.

Sorry to say, but you can't get a seat in JNAFAU with this score in JEE Mains Paper 2. I would suggest you go for private colleges like Amity University, Sharda University, Lovely Professional University, Galgotias University, etc.
