Satisfied with the faculty members and the student groups .
Placements: Joypur Panchanan Roy college is a Government College. It does not provide any direct placements but it has the best faculty members in B.A. English Hnrs department in entire Howrah district. So most of the students get good grades and doing well in life. Taking example of 2022 pass out students, they are doing M.A. in good colleges for higher education.
Infrastructure: Just like any other government college the infrastructure is not up to the mark but it has the facility of clean drinking water and the av room is quite good. Talking about Classrooms, they are not clean, broken benches, old blackboards. Good to say infrastructure of 90s The canteen foods are delicious but not hygienic It does not provide any hostel facility. The classrooms are dispered in three blocks named C, D and E and has a total of 46 classrooms.
Faculty: Joypur Panchanan Roy college has the best faculty members in B.A. English Honours department. The teachers are very friendly, easy to interact and helpful as well. If you want to pursue English Hnrs as your main course please go for it blindly. The teachers are very productive and efficient in teaching. Concepts & doubt clearances are the two modest qualities of the faculty members. Talking about students performance, 2022 year students passed out with an average of 7 percentile and pursuing M.A. in top colleges.
Other: I chose the course as English has always been my area of expertise and I like this subject as well. Adding to the good faculty members, low semester fees, according to me it was a fair choice.
