So, first off, to get into their regular 4 year B.Tech course, you must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, scoring at least 45% if you're in the general category, or 40% if you're from a reserved category . And yeah, for entrance, you gotta take JEEmain or MHT CET, then go through Maharashtra's DTE Centralized Admission Process (CAP) – that's how you actually get a seat . Now if you're eyeing lateral entry (starting directly in 2nd year), the deal is you need a relevant engineering Diploma or a B.Sc degree, with 45% (or 40% for reserved) . Then you'd also go via the CAP or institute quota route. To sum it up: 1. 10+2 (PCM) with min 45% (general)40% (reserved). 2. Appear in JEE Main or MHT CET. 3. Participate in DTE CAP counseling to get a seat. 4. For lateral entry, have eligible diploma/BSc with 45%.
