For candidates to seek admission in the B.E. / B.Tech programme, they are required to have passed 10+2 pattern with physics, chemistry and mathematics, as compulsory subjects, with overall minimum marks of 45% for general and 40% for reserved classification. Admission is based mainly through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which will rely on the students marks from the 12th standard, plus the nativity verification if they did not study their 8th to 12th education in Tamil Nadu. Candidates may opt to apply for the additional management quota basis their performance, but again do not separately orientate themselves with admissions tests.
