It is good for future studies.
Placements: At KDR Government Polytechnic, Wanaparthy, there are no placements. Because it is only a 3-year diploma after the 10th through the Polycet exam. So placements are not available. However, computer science engineering is good at this college, and all other branches are also offered here. There are no placements, but after ECET, through B. Tech, this college provides knowledge that helps in B.Tech studies.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good here, including the college, but the hostel is not good. They plan to improve the hostel infrastructure. In the next 2-3 years, the college may be reconstructed with better facilities. Wi-Fi is available, but there is no canteen and no games. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Here, teachers are well-experienced and have a good staff. They are all qualified and help us reach our goals. There is no doubt about this. The course curriculum is good. There are two semesters in a year and four mid-exams. After two mids, there is a semester exam, and this cycle repeats throughout the three years of the diploma.

Strong basics in electrical and instrumentation, with scope for improvement.
Placements: 20-40% of the students are placed in our course. There are very few recruiting companies like basic electrical and automation companies. The roles they offer to our course students are like quality testing technician and instrumentation technician.
Infrastructure: The Ei department at KDR Government Polytechnic has labs that have electrical machines, a basic electrical lab. The college has a separate hostel for boys and girls near the campus and hostel rooms are sufficient and the food is good. College encourages sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers explain concepts clearly and also support students during lab sessions and exams. The curriculum is relevant and follows the Telangana State Board of Technical Education. It covers all the basic electrical engineering, instrumentation, control systems, and electronics. Overall pass percentage is 75-85%.
Other: I chose electrical and instrumentation engineering because it has a good scope in power plants, industries, automation, and maintenance fields. Better internship and placement support needs to be improved.
