Above average experience because of faculty, and good infrastructure development.
Placements: The placement of the college is decent, as approximately 200 students got placed in companies and still more opportunities are on the way. The average package was around 4 to 5 LPA, and there were many decent companies that came for campus recruitment. The internship opportunities were not that much; there were mostly full-time job opportunities. Overall, I had a decent placement experience.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide hostel facilities. There are facilities like computer labs, science labs, decent classrooms, and the library is also great. The college has improved its infrastructure recently. They have added two more floors, which include a new library, auditorium, classrooms, etc. Overall, the college is still improving its infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They provide important information for exams and they are well qualified. The quality of the teaching staff was overall above average. The course is relevant as they give various assignments that can help students develop and learn their skills. The semesters are not very difficult. The college provides important information 10 to 12 days before the exams, so it doesn't make the exam very difficult.
Other: I have done B.Com there. The best thing about the course is its flexibility. You can do anything like give competitive exams and can do jobs. The college conducts various events and fests, and there are various sports tournaments conducted by them. The fests are great and pretty interesting to watch.

Model College, Dombivli, generally receives positive feedback.
Placements: Many students come to attend the college, and many students got placement, but I did not take it, so I did not get it. A lot of students used to come to our college and also did college studies. Model College in Dombivli offers a range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in Commerce, Science, and other fields. UG courses include B.Com, B.Sc., BMS, BAMMC, and more. PG courses include M.Com and M.Sc.
Infrastructure: Classroom is great, with all the facilities, and it is clean. College library was also great, all of us students used to take books from there. Key facilities include well-maintained classrooms, a library with a good collection of books, a canteen, and sports facilities such as a gym, khana, and grounds for outdoor games. While some reviews mention the lack of hostels and limited Wi-Fi accessibility in certain areas, the college generally offers a conducive learning environment with necessary equipment and well-maintained facilities.
Faculty: Graduate and postgraduate courses with a focus on qualified faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, and a structured exam system. College aims to provide a holistic learning experience through qualified faculty, modern infrastructure, and well-organized extracurricular activities. All the teachers helped and also gave good notes. All the semester exams were held in our college itself, so there was not much pressure, and the teachers were also ours, and our teachers were also from the university. A good teacher also teaches well.
Other: Our college was autonomous, so we used to get papers in two patterns, which was good.

I am not very satisfied due to some negligence in services.
Placements: About 40% of students got placements on campus. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Mahindra Finance, and Wipro. The top roles offered are data entry, customer support, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. Labs are available, and classrooms are fine. The library is currently inoperational. There is no hostel facility. The canteen food is average. There is a gymkhana in college which consists only of table tennis, carrom, and chess. There is no ground in college, but we can play volleyball in the stilt area.
Faculty: There are good teachers for some subjects, which are core commerce subjects. For other subjects like EVS and computer applications, we may have to compromise. Although only a Bachelor's in commerce cannot give leverage, we may have to learn some extra skills.

Satisfied with the faculty, good placements, very good impressive infrastructure.
Placements: Average annual package is up to 3-4 Lacs per annum. Companies like Saraswat Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Prudential, Economic Times, Reliance Jio, and many more companies come to the college for campus placements. The college has approximately 90% of students who got internship or job offer letters.
Infrastructure: The college has its outsourced canteen, its own Gymkhana for carrom and table tennis, and experienced coaches and a Gymkhana secretary for gaining knowledge of sports. The college has taken all the safety measures; there are fire alarms and fire extinguishers available everywhere.
Faculty: The college faculty is very supportive in nature. Teachers are well-experienced and experts in their own fields. Overall, the exam pattern and timings of exams are very nicely designed, which helps students get enough time for self-study and score higher marks.
Other: Model College organizes many small events every month. Model College organizes an annual social event every year called Euphoria.

Good facilities & helpful professors.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Com from Model College. Around 40% of students get selected every year for placements. The highest package a company provides is around 25k, and the lowest is 10k. The top recruiting companies we have are TCS and Godrej. About 70% of students got placed in Saraswat Bank, TCS, and Godrej. The top roles offered in my course were assistant manager and manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and faculty of the college are good. Wi-Fi is available in every classroom. Computer lab and Science lab are provided for students to perform their educational activities. About the canteen, fast food is available for students with juice and soft drinks. Medical facilities are available if someone gets injured by chance. The college participates in district-level and state-level sports competitions, and it is available for both genders. Sports are given more priority in our college. In the gymkhana, table tennis, chess, and carrom are provided to avoid boredom during breaks.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are postgraduates with Ph.D.s in their respective subjects. They teach very well. This course is beneficial for students who want to upgrade their social skills. It makes students industry-ready through educational trips, personal development seminars held by the college, and camps. The semester exams of midterm are mid-level, but the final exams are tough to perform well. And students pass with a percentage above 50%.
Other: I chose this course to pursue my passion, which is business, and I believe this will help me. The grading system would make these four years much better. Events happen yearly/annually, and scholarships are also provided to interested students.

My Journey at Model College - 2020-2023 Batch: A Fun ride with Ups and Downs.
Placements: In our BBI course at Model College, around 50-60 percent of students managed to secure placements. The highest package offered was around 3.5 LPA while the average package hovered between 2-2.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included banks, financial services and companies like TCS , Saraswat Bank, eClerx etc. Internships were available with around 40 percent of students getting internships in finance, insurance and related sectors. Roles offered were mainly in banking operations, financial services and entry-level positions in finance firms like junior officer, Analyst, Back office operator etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the BBI department was decent. Wi-Fi was accessible in most areas and the classrooms were equipped with basic technological aids. The library had a decent collection of books especially for finance and banking such as main text books, Reference books etc. No Hostels were there in model college. Sports facilities were minimal but enough for a casual game of cricket or badminton.
Faculty: The faculty was experienced and helpful, though some professors were better at explaining things than others. The teaching quality was decent and the course structure was industry-relevant to an extent especially for finance-related roles. Exams were moderate, and if you studied consistently, passing wasn't too difficult. The pass percentage was around 95 percent with a handful of students needing reattempts. The pattern was 60:40 pattern divided into Externals : Internals. Internals were quite easy and externals were moderate.
Other: The crowd was a mix of students from different backgrounds but majority of south Indian people. Annual fests and cultural events brought everyone together and it was easy to make friends and join in on campus life. Connectivity was good due to the college's location and extracurricular activities were limited but engaging for those who participated. The course is good for someone interested in banking and finance but a bit more emphasis on practical training would make it better. There were many events like Cultural Fest, Annual Fest happening throughout the year.
