There are two ways to get admission in KIET(i)     Through counselling (organized by UPTAC): On the basis of JEE percentile, the Institution and branch will be allocated. For branch allocation criteria, you may refer, last year's opening and closing ranks for each branch available on the official website: uptac.admission.nic.in as per AKTU counselling. (ii)    Through Management Quota: 15% of total seats are filled through Management Quota. You have to register yourself through the KIET website. Confirmation of admission and branch allocation will be done strictly based on PCM merit in Class 12th, in addition to qualifying for the KIET admission test. 

RVR & JC College of Engineering has its placement record well ahead of RGUKT Andhra Pradesh having 66 companies, 1,215 job offers, and a the highest package of ?30.3 LPA. Its average package stands at ?5.15 LPA. At RGUKT, the average package is much lower at ?3.6 LPA with a placement rate of 70-80%. Top companies for both institutes are TCS, Wipro and Infosys.
