There are several colleges in Mumbai that offer B.Tech lateral entry courses, and the fees and placements may vary from one college to another. Here are some of the colleges that you can consider based on your preferences:
for. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT) - FCRIT is a well-reputed college in Mumbai that offers B.Tech lateral entry courses in various streams such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and more. The college has a low fee structure and excellent placement records, with companies like TCS, Capgemini, L&T, etc. , visiting the campus for recruitment. Vivekananda Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) - VESIT is another renowned college in Mumbai that offers lateral entry admissions in B.Tech courses. The college has a comparatively low fee structure and a good placement record, with companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, etc. , recruiting students from the campus. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) - RGIT is a government-aided college that offers lateral entry admissions in B.Tech courses in various streams. The college has a reasonable fee structure and a decent placement record, with companies like TCS, L&T Infotech, etc. , visiting the campus for recruitment. Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) - TSEC is a private engineering college that offers lateral entry admissions in B.Tech courses. The college has a slightly higher fee structure compared to the above-mentioned colleges, but it also has a good placement record, with companies like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, etc. , visiting the campus for recruitment. Before selecting a college, I suggest you thoroughly research the college's fee structure, placement record, faculty, infrastructure, and other facilities to make an informed decision.
