Libra College of Law was established in the year 2006 with the aim to impart intensive and extensive quality education in the field of Law by adopting modern and practical Teaching and Training Techniques. The College is approved by the Bar Council of India. Libra College of Law is affiliated with the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University The college has sprawling green campus with land area of approximately 10 acres in the heart of Dehradun, and it offers students a holistic environment that encourages exposure to social, cultural, and physical activities that complement the top of the class legal education imparted by the college. The college has produced many judicial magistrates and top class lawyers in the short span of last 18 years.

Libra College of Law admission is offered in both modes, i.e. online and offline. Admission to all the courses offered at Libra College of Law is merit-based. To apply online, candidates are expected to check the official website of the college. Whereas, if the candidates want to apply offline, then they have to collect the application form from the campus by paying the application fee. For admission to BALLB, candidates must appear in an entrance level test,  CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) or LSAT entrance exams.

At the UG level,  Libra College of Law Courses and Fees include BALLB, LLB, LLM,  and others. The duration of most of the UG courses ranges between three to five years, however, the PG courses are mostly offered for a duration of two years.
