I'm satisfied with the education and environment of our college.
Placements: Around 10 students get placed before the 6th semester. Many companies visit our college to recruit students from the 5th semester. Many placement opportunities are provided in our college. The placement department conducts one class every week.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college has psychology labs, a media lab, and a very good library with many books. Students can borrow books from the library if needed. Our campus is huge. Students meet people from other departments in the library.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are friendly and experienced. They encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities. The course curriculum is good. Students have to attend one webinar twice a week.
Other: Extracurricular activities are the best on our campus. They organise events to bring out the talent of students. The sports department is friendly. Many opportunities are provided in our fields.

Review of M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Many top recruiting companies visit our college to hire students. Almost 65% of students got placed in our course.
Infrastructure: Laboratory and classrooms are good. The canteen facility is better. It also provides a good library for students.
Faculty: The teaching and non-teaching staff members are excellent. They work very hard to make students better. Our faculty members are very cooperative. Semester exams are easy.
Other: Fests are conducted very well in our college.

The course is relatively outdated. Classes are uninspiring and counterproductive.
Placements: Expecting good feasible jobs straight out of B.A. is a bit of a stretch. There are tons of content and freelancing gigs available around the city, but they are not what you'd want to be doing full time. Regardless, there are not many placement scenes from college.
Infrastructure: So the B.A. Department is in the basement. This comes off as a little dubious and begs the question, why the basement, do we Arts students not deserve regular classrooms above sea level? It is best not to grieve yourself over this. Basements are cooler in summers. If you're a journalism student primarily, you will be disappointed by the lab and just the department in general.
Faculty: The course is relatively outdated. But Ramaiah cannot do anything about it as it is merely affiliated to BCU (previously BU). Whether you will learn anything depends on you. Teachers are mediocre and propagators of mediocrity. Classes are uninspiring and many times, counterproductive. Especially if you want to join the media industry, you will have to work towards your goals on your own.
Other: It isn't the worst college out there (neither is it even nearly the best), because even though academia will disappoint you, Bangalore mostly won't. Plus, Ramaiah is pretty chill, in the sense that attendance becomes a joke later on, regular college days are short, and lifestyle is peaceful. If you are ambitious, do not come here.

I'm satisfied with my college. The teachers are great but more practical exposure needed.
Placements: Ramaiah College does not have good placements for B.A. students but few of them get placed according to their knowledge but with a low package which is 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. They also provide placement opportunities on the basis of graduate degree not giving importance to specialisation also very few students are placed through this.
Infrastructure: The college has a very average lab, it does provide Wi-Fi. It has a good library whereas for the hostel I'm not sure because I stay at my home. The college does not have good canteen facilities offered for the degree students, the quality of food is okay not too good nor bad and there's always construction happening during classes which is disturbing.
Faculty: The teachers are good enough but they lack in the practical part. They focus more on the theory and it's not their fault it's the curriculum. Teachers are quite smart but not excellent but they are good the department has the smartest HOD who helps the students. The practical exposure is not there but recently they have started a few things and they have set up a journalism lab which wasn't there before.
Other: If more practical implements are added it would make the course much better and more and more projects would give them knowledge whereas the rest part is good. Events are quite good and are conducted with a lot of enthusiasm and teamwork. The department also has started conducting events since this year so that the students get more knowledge.

Faculty members here are encouraging and supportive.
Placements: Placements are always conducted here. Various companies also visited here, but they usually interviewed BA students for namesake. They mainly hired B.Com, B.Sc and BBA students. After graduation, I got a job as a sub-editor in a market research firm.
Infrastructure: Our college provided all the facilities required for the course. There were projector rooms, labs and instruments to conduct the experiments. Recently they started a media lab where students are mainly taught about the practical applications of everything related to journalism. I did not stay in the hostel, so I don't know about it.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very supportive and encouraging. They encourage you to be the best version of yourself. The syllabus given by Bangalore University for the course is outdated. You will either already know what some of the topics are about, and the rest is just useless.

A good college for pursuing psychology but not for journalism.
Placements: The placements are not that good, they are trying to work on it. Internship opportunities are provided by the faculty members (they refer organizations). They support students by giving them attendance for their internship reports. We get to work as reporters in newspaper organizations.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a proper auditorium to conduct inter/intra college fests. (the construction works are happening though). The canteen facilities are poor for degree students. It is not well maintained. The hostel facilities are also not good.
Faculty: The teachers of B.A. department are really humble and well knowledgeable. The teaching is good in B.A. but they don't give any importance to the practical exposure for journalism because they follow Bangalore university pattern and stick on giving importance to theory.
Other: No extra curricular activities happened in this college.
