You have to attain the minimum aggregate of 45% in your Class 12 exams (40% for ST/SC students) to become eligible for admission in BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law. However, eligibility itself does not ensure admission because there is no provision of direct admission to this college. MS Ramaiah College of Law complies with the orders of the Department of HRD, Government of India. The college reserves 5% of seats for Kashmiri Migrants in BCom LLB until the last day of the admission. The persons claiming the status of Kashmiri Migrants have to produce the identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of the Government of Karnataka to this effect.

The admission process for BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law is competitive in nature. Even after qualifying the basic eligibility criteria, the aspiring students have to compete against one another to get higher score in the entrance test and interview round. This is because a limited number of seats are available for BCom LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law. Still, it is easier to get admission in this college compared to the top ranked law colleges in India, such as NLSIU, Bengaluru and NLU, Delhi. Ramaiah College of Law conducts RCL Admission Test to select candidates for admission to BA LLB, BCom LLB and BBA LLB programmes. Admission to certificate courses is merit-based. The requirement of entrance exam varies course-wise. Aspirants must check the criteria for the preferred course to apply for admission.

The application or registration fee for MS Ramaiah College of Law courses is the same for both the UG and PG level courses. Students must pay INR 1,200 during the application process as well as INR 50,000 upon being selected to confirm their seat as admission or advance fees.
