Garbage college that can ruin your life.
Placements: I think most of the students were still unemployed and preparing for BPSC. Many others went to teach in private schools. The highest package in my graduating year was around 6 LPA. The average median package was around 2–4 LPA. My college had no recruiting companies for B.Ed. I think around 36–40% of students had jobs at that time. I was also preparing for BPSC. There were no specific top roles, as most students were mainly handling their degrees.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very poor for a college. The hostel was also very dirty, with poor living conditions. So, I had to take a room nearby. Sports facilities were available for students. I really enjoyed the sports festival in my college. The medical facilities were average, neither too poor nor very modern.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified. Most professors were highly knowledgeable in their fields. The course curriculum was a little diverse. But I felt it was not enough to prepare students for life in a country like India. As I mentioned earlier, they were mainly handling degrees. The exams were much harder than I expected, but the passing percentage was 36% and above.
