Friendly faculty members with awesome skills.
Placements: 90 percent of B.Tech ai&this students are placed in our college. The highest salary package is 10LPA and average salary package is 4LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.8LPA. 90 percent of students from my course got internships in TCS, Zoho, Wipro, Cognizant, NextGen Software Solutions, Comcast, Fourkites, and Faceprep. Roles offered in our course are Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and Business Intelligence Developer.
Infrastructure: A specialised programming lab for Java managed by Ethnotech. Programming labs with fast Wi-Fi access. New classrooms with new desks and proper facilities. A well maintained and NEET library with awesome facilities. The hostel has all the facilities for all needs. Food quality is great. Canteen foods are quite good and also have good medical facilities. Our college gives more importance to every sport. Our college performs and wins every tournament. Our college perform excellent in sports and academics.
Faculty: Our college has qualified professors and they are helpful to students with academics. Our college professors are knowledgeable and have great teaching skills. The quality of teaching is great in our college. The course curriculum is relevant for all courses. The course curriculum is mostly based in industry related and core. It makes the students industry ready. Since exams conducted by Anna University are quite tough. The past percentage is 45 percent.
Other: I like to study AI & this course. Its the future dominant and we have scope for this course. Things to be improved in our course are extending more classes for programming language skills. Our college hosts more events than any other college. We have a good campus life with a neat campus. Connectivity students amazing. The campus surroundings are good. Scholarships are correctly provided. Extra curricular activities are quite good.

Placements: Mailam Engineering College has good placement records in 2021, with top companies like TCS, TVS, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Wipro, and Infosys visiting the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. 95% of students were placed in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: Mailam Engineering College has good infrastructure facilities. The biggest auditorium, a well-stocked library, and Hitech modern laboratories are available in this college. Multiple sports ground facilities are also available in this college. This college's hostel facilities are also very good. A variety of foods are available in this college canteen.
Faculty: Teachers have more than 5 years of experience persons in the teaching profession. They are more qualified and knowledgeable persons. They conduct 5-8 lectures every week. They conduct more model exams every month. So, 95% of students passed all semester exams. This college's staff are very friendly people. They conduct more extracurricular activities programs every semester. They arrange more industry visit programs and workshop events every semester.
Other: This college's courses and curriculum were updated. College management conducts more sports events every semester. They celebrate more festival events. The course fee structure is very low. Management gives more scholarships to well-studied students. This college provides good transportation facilities.

One of the best colleges around the district.
Placements: There are the best placements here. 82% of students got placed in MNCs. The highest package is 10 LPA. The medium package is 5 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top reputed companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cisco. In my college, top courses are electronics and communication engineering, articles and electronics engineering, and computer science and engineering.
Infrastructure: My college has excellent infrastructure. It is one of the best colleges in Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, and Cuddalore districts. The hostel food is healthy and excellent. For travelling, buses are provided in the college, so it is a very good college. My college was established 25 years ago.
Faculty: The college is ready to make us an excellent and knowledgeable person. The course curriculum is relevant in my college.
Other: I like a core-based course. In the future, many more opportunities are available in this core side, so I chose electronics and communication engineering.

Need improvement in academics and placements.
Placements: Till now, 33 lakhs p/a is the highest salary offered to placed students in our college. It was offered to our college senior from the department of information technology by Amazon. At least 10+ top companies came for placement every year. Other than this, most of the companies were start-ups.
Infrastructure: Professional sports coaches are appointed in order to encourage the sports interests of the students. Usually during sports period, they share about the benefits of playing sports and sports scholarships. There is a complaint box in each department to inform students about the issue.
Faculty: Most restrictive teachers that I had ever seen in my life. Probably most of the teachers stick to the text books. We have a lot of confusion between academics and placements. As they told us to concentrate on placements and not be allowed to attend the academic class. But they will punish us when we score average marks in academics.

Recorded as a higher placement college in Tamil Nadu by the NAAAN Mudhalvan.
Placements: Companies like Capgemini, Sutherland, Accenture, Deloitte, concentrix etc. Came for on-campus placement. Also, we were asked to attend the drives that were occurring on the campus of SMVEC and MIT. Our alumni from the department of information technology got placed in Amazon with 33 Lacs pa.
Infrastructure: Multiple sports grounds for girls and boys students, and we were trained by the professional sports coaches. In the hostel, we should be on time to have our food. Also, in the hostel, there is a specific time period allotted for us to play, study, and talk.
Faculty: We surely are asked to attend the industrial visits twice a year. During such industrial visits, we may approach the companies of our relevant fields. It's easy to pass exams, but to score above the 8.5 CGPA, we must study throughout the year. Also, most of the questions in exams were real-time applications based.

Feedback about mailam engineering college.
Placements: Mailam engineering college was running successfully upto 25 years with extraordinary placements. It was accredited by TCS and also integrated with various multinational companies. Also I got placed in Renault Nissan on 2023 placements with 4.7 lakhs and started to work as a intern from my final year itself.
Infrastructure: The management arranges online feedback system to monitor the teachers performance and their drawbacks. Then they conduct meetings to take necessary measures and to solve the issues and drawbacks. And our laboratories were supported with uninterrupted power supply.
Faculty: As internals exams were conducted at the end of every month and such results were intimate to our parents via post and phone. Also our teachers intimate the fees payments via post. All our teachers were more concentrated on completing their works from completing portions to fees payments.
