Review of Mailam Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are very good. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc. The lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. The highest salary package offered was 2.75 LPA by Amazon.

Infrastructure: There is a decent library, and several books are available. The food served in the canteen is not good. Library hour is conducted for an hour. Hostel facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers have more than 10 years of experience. All faculty members are helpful. The teaching quality is good for us to understand every topic easily. Semester exams are very good. The pass percentage is 50%. Two exams are conducted every semester.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. We can also gain in-depth knowledge in this field. Many club activities are available, such as ELC, MTM, AKSA, etc. They conduct Achievers Day to distribute prizes for students, teachers, and other staff members.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placement and infrastructure.

Placements: Mostly 70 percentage of students get placements every year. The highest salary package is 5 Lacs per annum. The average salary package is 2 to 3 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Hyundai, tech Mahindra, Wipro, cognizant, Zoho, Accenture etc. Mostly 50 to 70 percentage students get internships in various companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are so good in this college. There is Wi-Fi but accessible only for faculty members. The class room are good but not have any projectors attached for smart classes. There is well stocked library with lot of journals and books. The hostel facilities are good and hygienic. But the canteen did not meet the expectations of mine. The canteen is small and most of time the foods are tasty, hygienic with affordable price. This college has good medical facilities. The college give importance to the game and sports. There is a separate department for sports namely physical education for the students.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are highly educated and knowledgeable. But some teachers are not highly educated and tier teaching method is poor. The college have to improve the teaching quality and to do more practical session for the students to learn easily. The curriculum is relevant and that makes the students industry ready the semester exam are slightly hard to get pass. The pass percentage is 40 percentage but the students have to score 70 percentage above in each semester to eligible for the placement in the top companies. Other than semester there is internal exams and that marks are calculated with semester marks.

Other: I had close this course because I have interest in mechanical field. The college give best placement for this course. The college have to improve the faculty members and their teaching quality. The events are often conducted. The cultural events conducted once per year. The students can easily participate in the inter college events and symposium. The college campus is so large and the students can enjoy the campus life. The surroundings are so good and there is the nearest bus stop, transport facilities for the students. There is few scholarship provided by this college namely first graduate scholarship, minority scholarship etc. There is lot of clubs and extra curricular activities for the students in the college.
