It is the best college to enjoy your college life.
Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered ranges between Rs. 8,000-12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TCS and CTS visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is a supervisor. The highest salary offered in our course ranges between Rs. 8,000-30,000 per month. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship. Students who score above 69% in academics and with no arrears will get the highest salary package. Students those who had arrears will get the lowest salary package, and those who are with arrears are not eligible for campus placements.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide Wi-Fi facility. Lifts are available. The college is equipped with CCTV cameras in all areas. The hostel is very good and average for students. Food served is not much good compared to other college hostels. The college was built up with canteen inside. Parking facility was also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly and kind. The quality of education is good. They never force you other than in fees matters, and they will let you live your college life. They will provide general knowledge more than books knowledge. They are friendly, and they share their knowledge with you.
Other: I have chosen because I like the machine works very much compared to other departments. I wish the college should provide more practical knowledge rather than books knowledge.

Meenakshi University - Faculty of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
