Mirror of my college life, thought.
Placements: Compared to CSE, ECE students are getting more placements. Lowest package is about 3 LPA. Top recruit companies are Amazon, CTS, TCS. Roles offered are like developed, etc., coming to the internship, we want to search for the internship, but college will assist.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was too good. Classes were also nice. Wi-Fi is also available. Library is too good. Basically, I am not a hostel student. I don't know about the hostel, but the college classroom and library were nice. Blindly, we can give 5-star ratings for that.
Faculty: Curriculum was interesting because here they are following the flixy learn method, which means we can choose the subject and faculty, and the time also, and the exams are conducted once every three months. Rupees 600 exam fees will be. Exams are easy. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Other thing, like fest and all, is very good in our college, the faculty is good in our college, basically in CSE department.

Saveetha Institute has good infrastructure, facilities, and placements.
Placements: My college has good placements. More than 95% of students get placed per year. Top companies like Amazon, Hyundai, TCS, etc., hire more students from our college every year. This year a girl from the CSE-AI department has been placed with the highest package of 44 LPA in Amazon. The average package ranges from 5-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The best thing about my college is its infrastructure. I guarantee that my college has one of the best infrastructure and it may take us at least 3 months to discover all of them one by one between my college hostel and amenities are good. There is no need to worry about food as there are more than 60 canteens in my college. We will have the best campus life here in Saveetha. There are medical facilities (we never need to worry as the campus has the best hospital within SMC). It also has sports or other activities.
Faculty: In my college, the pass percentage is 50% or above. Faculty members and course curriculum are good. They will complete the syllabus on time without any excuse. They will also cover the syllabus as soon as possible and complete the course more quickly than expected compared to other colleges. Our attendance percentage should be 80% at any cost. The education system is very strict but only on studies, the college becomes strict.
Other: Another best thing I like about my college apart from my studies is it conducts many events to grow our talents and enjoy campus life. If we belong to Saveetha we will never miss out on the concert nights on culturals which makes Saveetha figure out better than other colleges.

SIMATS: the more you explore, the more you know.
Placements: It provides good education, encourages good opportunities for extracurricular activities and makes group decisions to understand the subject. The highest package of this year is around Rs 34 lakhs. Here, the recruiting companies are Amazon, Avasoft, Devrev, etc. The majority of all courses are offered here.
Infrastructure: Every hostel has Wi-Fi. The infrastructure of this college is more attractive than expected. The classrooms are so clean and hygienic. The hostel is also so good. On our campus, there are more than 15 hostels. Every hostel has its own uniqueness, like 4 in 1 AC, 6 in 1 AC, 8 in 1 AC, and 2 in 1 AC and there are non-AC rooms in hostels. The food is better than any other college in Chennai.
Faculty: The faculty is so helpful and has more experienced people; some are not so much but okay. The teaching quality is good. The faculty is good; they encourage us in every situation. The exams are easy if we practice and listen well to the classes. For others, it will be more difficult than we expect.
Other: Why I chose this course is because, in 4 to 5 years, AI will top the list, so I chose AI & DS in B.Tech. for the future. The exams are easy. The infrastructure of this college is more attractive. Here in this college, every month it has 2 to 3 events and the classrooms are so clean and hygienic, and they conduct fests too. By conducting events, they also give certificates for participation.

Really satisfied with all the facilities provided by our college management.
Placements: Minimum 75% of students were placed every year. The highest package is 10lpa and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top companies for our college is Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. Minimum 80% of students got internship from our course. Data scientist are the top roles.
Infrastructure: Excellent facilities were offered by the college management. The quality of food will be very good, the classroom infrastructure is also good. Medical facilities were also good. Labs, classrooms infrastructure were also good. The facilities is also good.
Faculty: The teachers are also very useful and the teaching quality is also good. They train for interview from the first year of the B.Teach. It is also helpfor students getting ready for the interview. The semester exam of the college will be moderate. 90% pass.
Other: It is the most demanding course and it is also useful for future also.

Good place to gain and expand your knowledge and future but dissatisfied to the core in other areas.
Placements: The worst thing about placements is that they expect the students to give contacts of known companies to the concerned supervisors so they can bring them in. No core companies have visited till now. No help or whatever with the internship from the college and department sides as well. The placement cell forces us to take part in IT-related interviews and stuff when we are clearly inclined toward the core segment. They wouldn't even allow us to attend any type of internship or training outside and engage us in their own form of training, which isn't worth a single penny. My friends were heavily fined for not attending this so-called placement training, as they wanted to do something quite useful in an industry rather than in a training related to coding.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar but my friends who reside in hostels weren't satisfied either. They showed me a picture of dead bugs and worms in their food. That alone is a major concern. No action was taken by the management related to the quality of the food provided. That explains a lot. The rooms are okay but not worth it. INR 80–90k in hostel fees is too much for a mediocre room and disease-carrying food.
Faculty: The only thing about the department is that the staff is good. They're pretty hilly, unless you get yourself into any trouble that concerns them or the department name. Most of them are knowledgeable but not everyone. The teaching goes on with the usual PPT presentations, but there are some staff members who put effort into their teaching and help students get better. The course curriculum is actually pretty good but it depends on the candidate's ability to make himself suitable for the industry. Regarding semester exams, you can clear it if you have an idea of what you are dealing with, just the important points. Most of the staff expect that, not the review or the usual ditto writing.
Other: I chose this course to my liking. The lab equipments is worse, as most won't work, nor are the lab assistants, as they have little knowledge about the equipment, the relationships, etc. The parking system is a headache if you have a bike scattered all around with no one to care about. Regarding the events and other activities, the only thing that could happen to me for joining was a good time. WiFi is consistent. Overall, this is the best college if you really want to explore and expand your knowledge in your field but otherwise, a big no to other things.

Good placements and with staff behaviour with students and really awesome infrastructure.
Placements: 97% of students are placed in different companies. The highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average package is 6.7 LPA. It's not every company recruits, but TCS recruited more than 100 students last year. So far, 87% of students have gotten internship opportunities from my course. The top roles offered like Front-end Development, which is the most common role.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, seminar rooms, clean washrooms, and a big library. Hostels are of good quality and include CCTV. There is good maintenance, power supply, hot water, and drinking water facilities. The food in the mess feels like home, and we can chose from many different types of food from different canteens. The college also includes extracurricular activities like yoga, a fitness gym, and a ground.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful in interacting with students and are well-qualified. Of course, the course curriculum is good and meets industry standards. It is easy to pass the semester exams because the staff teaches very well. Mostly, 90 to 95% of students pass the semester exams.
Other: From my point of view, CSE provides more opportunities to freshers compared to other branches. Almost all opportunities are good on campus. SIMMAM is the biggest cultural fest in my college. Every month, at least one event is definitely conducted. Connectivity between the campus and students is very good.

No, students cannot be admitted to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences without undergoing entrance exams. Also, when you take admission in the institute through the entrance exam, you are admitted in the 1st year.
