    On Highlights
Q:   Is the BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus the same for all colleges?
    A:

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
    A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

An average college for financially unstable students.
Placements: 50 percent of students will get placement in my course, which is electronics and communication engineering. For electronics engineers, there is scope, so getting a job will be easier if you have good marks and skills. Internships are provided after the 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The hostel is an average hostel. The canteen is close to the pharmacy block of the college. Hostel food is good. The hostel is 700 meters away from the college. Hostel food is prepared in the college canteen and will be delivered to the hostel. Sports meet is very good here and has a good team in games.
Faculty: I would say that my faculty is the best faculty in the college. They take care of the students as their own children. Class tests are taken often in a week so that the students study. Teachers will take the class in a very understandable manner. Semester exams are tough, though, but these teachers will help us pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because electronics have good scope in the job sector, and I love electronics. Events are less here because the management does not raise enough funds for events. Most of the students have a scholarship named 'Vidyamritham,' which is for financially unstable students who have good marks in 12th.

B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2022

It provides good infrastructure, a clean campus, dedicated staff, and well-equipped laboratories.
Placements: Around 35% of students are placed. The average salary package offered ranges from 25,000 per month - 1 Lac. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Sutherland, and TCS. Almost 10% of students get internships. The roles offered are programmer head, chief engineer etc. As technology advances over time, various subfields of engineering have succeeded in adapting and multiplying. Mechatronics intends to produce a design solution that unifies each of these various subfields. Originally, the field of mechatronics was intended to be nothing more than a combination of mechanics and electronics, hence the name being a portmanteau of mechanics and electronics. However, the complexity of technical systems continued to evolve. The definition has been broadened to include more technical areas.
Infrastructure: This college provides well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, a well-maintained library, and clean and hygienic canteens. Medical rooms and other rooms for recovery are also available. Sports and games activities are conducted. It is an eco-friendly campus with a beautiful atmosphere and greenery, and it has well-secured hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. It is all about the modern world of automation. The pass percentage is 60%. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University offers engineering and technology-related courses and has advanced courses and a syllabus compared to the courses offered by its predecessor, the old Kerala University. It is a relatively new and reformed university, with its first batch in 2015.
Other: Mechatronics is a relevant course in the developing environment, and it is all about automation and robotics.

This college is great for studies and provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The faculty members are providing more job opportunities to the students. Placements cell is active, which trains, inspires, and motivates the students for the placements. Even for the pass-out students, they kept sending the job vacancies, and placements drive which seem to be useful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is modified till now it has a big peaceful library. The laboratory facilities are good. Every department laboratory is working efficiently. The canteens' atmosphere, and the quality of the food are good. New college hostel construction is going on.
Faculty: Every department has efficient and friendly teachers. Their teaching styles are unique and great. They do conduct many workshops, and webinars for the students to make the curriculum relevant. Semester exams are conducted by this university. The invigilation in our college is strict.
Other: I opted for this course, because IT sectors are emerging, and there have more chances to grow up the career. It is better if students can focus on certain interested fields of technology only. They provide and helps to gain many scholarships like fee waiver, momas, egrands, etc. Fests and events are great in this college.

It is an average college with the best college experience.
Placements: About 25% of students get placed in different companies not with a starting salary package but as trainees. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc. I do not know anyone who got an internship in our college. Our college does not offer top roles. We have to find it on our own.
Infrastructure: The food served in a mess is average. Overall, it is average. Wi-Fi is not available for students. Labs and classrooms are good. It does not have huge medical facilities. There is a van that takes us to a hospital if there is an emergency condition. Sports and games are average here.
Faculty: The pass percentage is somewhat 60%. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are average. But if we keep going with the course, it will be easy. If you stay lazy, it will be hard to pass out.
Other: There is nothing best except the programs, DJ party, etc. I recommend improvements in labs and other infrastructure.

You will get a good experience from this college.
Placements: 37% or below of students are only placed with 4 LPA or below. I don't know which companies are recruiting. I have chosen a new trending course, that is, CSE with a specialization in cybersecurity. And other than that, one more new course, that is, CSE with a specialization in artificial intelligence.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college for every branch are good. But the college is not providing support for extracurricular activities. And also, permission is only given up to 4:20 to be in the college compound. There are sports and arts days in the college. The hostel is providing good facilities.
Faculty: Teaching is good and supportive. Faculty members are qualified with Ph.D., M.Tech, B.Tech, M.Sc., etc. The passing percentage is good at the college. Exams are average difficulty, not too difficult. The difficulty in exams also depends on how we prepare for the exam.
Other: Students are very nice and nice climate, seniors are very friendly and no ragging.
