The college environment is very negative.
Placements: We don't get placement, my senior got some placement, but in our time, the placement is not available. We can get placement at Lenskart companies and in ophthalmic clinics. Only 40 percent of students got placed back in the years. College doesn't allow for completing an internship at another place.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but we can't go anywhere in college, always the watcham interrupts you, can't go from that route and blah blah. Food is good. We don't get clean water to drink sometimes, otherwise it's good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but they don't introduce us to new achievements and new upcoming things like paper review and research paper. They demotivate us at some movements. Exams are pretty difficult, but we get through them. Teaching quality is average, and they didn't demotivate me, though I was mentally exhausted.
Other: My course is way too good, but the faculty is not good enough. We don't get enough instruments, instruments are limited, and we are solely limited to vision and refraction, and there isn't a contact lens clinic we haven't got our hands on contact lens practice. The Optometry department is limited. College doesn't even provide a scholarship. The college organises sports and cultural events every year.

The college has good placements in 2025 and really good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70–80% of students are placed in the Medical Laboratory Technology course. About 5 LPA is the average package offered in our institute. The top roles in our course are Biochemistry Technician, Pathology Technician, and Quality Control Technician.
Infrastructure: In our college library, Wi-Fi is available, and books are also available for reading. Facilities and infrastructure are very good. Clean drinking water is available in the library and departments. The classrooms are well furnished. At our MGM Institute, the sports canteen provides very good quality food in both taste and quantity. The MGM Institute has a 5-acre cricket ground and indoor game areas for games like chess, carrom, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our institute are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are probably tough, and some exams are difficult to solve. The pass percentage CGPA is 8+.
Other: I chose this course for patient care. I am interested in this course because it is valuable. Doctors need pathology reports, and without pathology reports, doctors cannot recommend medicines. The events, fests, and campus crowd are very good, and participants actively take part. I chose this course because it provides accuracy in laboratory test results. It helps in learning technical skills in the laboratory and pathology departments.

Overall college experience at MGM Institute of Health Sciences from a student's perspective.
Placements: I will pass out this year, but around 85% of students from my senior batch get selected in interviews conducted by the university and get placed in well-renowned hospitals. Many of them are still working there with a fair starting salary of around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The campus environment and infrastructure are good. Initially, we face some minor issues like the availability of proper washrooms and drinking water, but those issues were resolved later. Otherwise, classrooms, library, labs, and other facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They communicate well and clear doubts properly. The curriculum is well-structured. It includes all the necessary topics required for our course. The exams are conducted strictly according to university guidelines.

Teachers, infrastructure and facilities are good, and the placement of 2025 was great.
Placements: Around 100% of students were placed in my course through campus recruitment and hospital-based opportunities. The highest package offered was around 5 to 6 LPA, the lowest was 2-3 LPA, and the average package was 3 to 4 LPA. 100% of students got internships in my course at MGM Medical College and Hospital. My course offers roles as Cardiac Care Technologies, 2D Echo Cardiography Technologies, ECG Technologies, and Catheter Lab Technologies.
Infrastructure: Overall, the facility is good, and the faculty support and motivate the students to give their best. The college provides clean classrooms and an excellent library. The college organises sports week every year. The canteen food is good and hygienic, and the canteen staff are also very calm and clean the tables promptly.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent. Above 75% attendance is mandatory for university exams. Exams are easier for those who study hard and attend lectures. The hospital staff helps students to understand machines and procedures through hands-on practice in internships.
Other: I would just like to say that scholarships should be allowed from the first to the third year. This would be helpful for hostel candidates.

Really good college, the campus is just epic, and the placement is also good.
Placements: Most of the students in the course were placed in different hospitals. The average starting package offered to the freshers was 20000. There is an internship already added to the course, which is in the last year of the college, i.e., in the 7th and 8th semesters.
Infrastructure: The facilities available at the college are top-notch. There are nearly all the facilities available in the college, like a very big library, computer rooms discussion rooms and free Wi-Fi. The quality of the food in the canteen is not that good as compared to other colleges but it is still edible.
Faculty: The faculty members are very knowledgeable and they are also highly educated. The faculty use different methods to teach so that every student can understand the basics and also increase his or her knowledge. The examinations that are taken are hard, but they are passable.
Other: I chose this course because the curriculum is all related to biology and also focuses on the science behind the human body. I think the course doesn't need any improvements but still, the method of taking exams should be changed a bit.
