A good college for basic learning, with scope for self-improvement and skill development.
Placements: Around 70–80% of students are placed through the course. The highest package is 4.5–5 LPA, the lowest package is 1.8–2 LPA, and the average package is 2.5–3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and local IT & software companies. Around 70–80% of students get internships. Internship companies include local software companies, startups, digital marketing firms, and web development agencies. Top roles offered are Software Trainee, Junior Developer, Web Developer, Data Entry / Computer Operator, and Technical Support Executive.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are satisfactory, with Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, and a library. Hostel and mess facilities are good and manageable. Basic medical facilities and sports facilities (like cricket, football, volleyball, and indoor games such as badminton and chess) are available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant, but students need extra skills for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 75–85%, depending on the batch and subjects.
Other: BCA is a good course for students interested in computers and IT. Curriculum is relevant but needs more practical exposure. Campus life is decent, with events, good connectivity, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

I am very disappointed with a few teachers and the registrar.
Placements: 14% of students are placed from this course. There are about 35 students in each class, out of which only 4–5 students get placed. If we talk about the highest salary offered, it is around Rs. 12,000– Rs. 15,000 per month. There is a pool campus in 2025, but no company comes specifically to our college.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi with 100 kbps speed, giving a completely remote-life experience as there is no mobile signal available. Classrooms are the best possible according to the fee. There are many computers in the lab, but not all of them work. We have to find a working system and then start working. If you are lucky, it may work. Otherwise, it hangs or stops in between, which makes you hardworking because you have to do all your work again from the beginning. You also get nice medical facilities in case you faint after seeing so many facilities.
Faculty: A few faculty members are helpful, no doubt. But most of them are very helpful in the sense that you cannot call or message them before 9 a.m. or after 4 p.m. They do not even reply to parents’ messages, which is very nice and sweet of them.
Other: No scholarships (NSP) are provided. Even government scholarships are not given, as they find some reason, like asking for EWS or other documents that you may not have. So you cannot avail the scholarship. I cannot express how happy I am after taking admission here. I strongly prefer you to take admission here if you think this is a false review and want to experience it yourself.

Decent college with scope.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students got placed. The average package was 3-4 LPA, the lowest 2-2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and roles like Software Engineer, Analyst, and Support Executive were offered. Good placements with average packages.
Infrastructure: The campus has good classrooms, labs, a library, and Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are decent with average mess food, basic medical support, and sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games. The campus environment is friendly with decent events and connectivity, but more practical exposure and industry interaction would be helpful.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified, supportive, and explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is fairly relevant and helps build basic industry skills. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%. The college is also good.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a good career scope and a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. The best part is supportive faculty, decent campus life, events, and good connectivity.

The college has really good placements.
Placements: I'm not sure about what percentage of students get placed. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA and the highest is 12 LPA for sales and IT companies. The top companies that visit our campus are Appsquadz, PhonePe, TCS, Infosys, Paytm, Mahindra, etc. Last year, 10 students were placed from the BCA course.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are very attractive. Classrooms make the environment cozy and comfortable for studying. The mess and canteen food are delicious. If students suffer from sickness, there are good medical facilities. Every year, there is a great annual sports week to motivate the students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very attentive and friendly in nature. Exams are not difficult because the faculty focuses on previous year papers to make us confident for the external exams. They provide relevant courses and guidance to freshers to choose the correct path.
Other: I have a strong interest in cloud architecture and data servers. That is the only reason I chose this course. Events are very fun-loving with the crowd.

Best part of the college is the nursing department.
Placements: The highest package is about 4 to 6 LPA. Almost everyone in our class gets internships. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Amazon, and Pay Tm. Everybody in my class got placed in a reputed position in companies. Top roles in my course are data analyst and web developer.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. The computer lab is very nice, and the classrooms are very good. The canteen is very huge. Medical facilities are also good. Sports and games events also happen every week. The quality of food is good, and the best part of the canteen is the roll.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very good and very supportive. They teach the subjects very deeply. Faculty teach us from the basics of every subject and make us sit directly in interviews. Semester exams are tough, you have to get at least 17 out of 70 to pass.
Other: I chose BCA because I love to do coding, and it is really fun. The fest is amazing in this college, and I had so much fun there.

Review of MIET Kumaon, Haldwani.
Placements: Placements are limited, and the average package requires a hard struggle. There is no job security and fewer opportunities. Some students get average placements, while some do not get any placement or job security. For a good understanding of industry-level work, they take us on industrial visits.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available on campus. Lab exposure is decent. Hostel rooms and food are average. Toilet conditions are poor. The warden, sir, is understanding. There is no outing permission, and the GATE pass approval procedure is very long. There is no proper availability of hot water for the entire batch during the winter.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and understanding. They are good in nature and knowledgeable, with decent teaching quality. Exams are completely under surveillance, and they have a good exam management team. The HOD, ma’am, is also good and very understanding.
Other: There is no Wi-Fi and poor network connectivity. Events and fest management are great. Extracurricular activities are decent. There are lots of lectures, which frustrate us, and there are fewer holidays.
