One of the best NITs in India (MNIT Jaipur).
Placements: Our batch placement rate is around 89–91 percent. The highest package is 27 LPA. The lowest is around 6 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Honda, HPCL, BPCL, Maruti Suzuki, and ICICI Bank. The on-campus internship rate is quite low. The roles offered include GET, Deputy Manager, Executive Trainee, SDE, Data Analyst, and Data Scientist.
Infrastructure: We have the biggest lecture hall in Asia (VLTC). There is a computer centre open 24/7. We also have a workshop that includes different shops like a foundry and a welding shop. Wi-Fi is available across the entire campus. There are different grounds for each sport, both indoor and outdoor. There are around 17 hostels, and each has its own mess.
Faculty: The teaching is very much research-oriented. Some learnings are directly related to the industry. The course curriculum is relevant to today’s world, and each department is learning AI as per current needs. The semester exam level is quite good.
Other: I mentioned everything that I know based on my experience.

Overall experience with key points you must know before confirming MNIT, Jaipur.
Placements: You all know NITs perform well in placements as well as campus life. Companies like MediaTek, Micron, Apple, Samsung, Airtel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, and others visit MNIT Jaipur for recruitment. Hence, the highest package ranges between 36.2 and 52 CTC. The minimum salary ranges between 6 and 9 CTC. The average salary ranges between 14 and 18 CTC. MNIT has strong placement statistics of around 85–90%, and the internship rate is around 70–80% in local companies and semiconductor production companies. Top job roles offered to ECE students include VLSI engineer, embedded system designer, and ASIC designer. Also, communication system engineer, electronics and hardware designer, and semiconductor specialist roles.
Infrastructure: All the academic buildings were in the finest condition with a 50 Mbps Wi-Fi facility all over the campus. However, the hostel buildings were not in good condition when I stayed there; doors were broken, bathrooms were not working, and there was leakage at a few places. I think these issues have been reconstructed over time. Although the food quality was much better, there was no limitation on quantity. Proper hygiene was maintained with a mess charge of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 12,000 for water, electricity, and hostel rent per semester. Campus also had a large auditorium, modern lab facilities, seminar halls, an e-library, a small garden with proper maintenance. Along with a cafeteria, medical facilities, sports grounds, and indoor games.
Faculty: MNIT had highly experienced and knowledgeable professors, which gave students an advantage in research work under the guidance of relevant faculty members. The teaching method and quality were acceptable and understandable. The course curriculum included analog system design, embedded system design, VLSI, wireless communication, and wave properties, which had a strong impact on students’ ability to work in the semiconductor industry and prepared them for production industries. The exams were quite difficult; sometimes they were open-book, and sometimes they required writing answers directly. Securing a good CGPA was challenging, but most students cleared exams in one attempt.
Other: Since MNIT was in my home state, I was allocated a good branch (ECE). The TFW scheme was also applicable. I chose MNIT to pursue B.Tech. Under the TFW scheme, only tuition fees are exempted depending on family income (if income is less than Rs. 1 lakh, complete remission. If income is Rs. 1–5 lakhs, two-thirds remission is provided on total tuition fees of Rs. 62,000 per semester). A lot of events, fests, hackathons, and tech fests were conducted by the institute. Students from other colleges also participated, making those days very enjoyable.

It has a very good infrastructure in all NITs but you will have to compromise with food.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students got placed this year. The average package is around 12 LPA with the highest being around 56 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BPCL, HPCL, Visa, BNY, Deutsche Bank, Texas Instruments, etc. The on-campus internship percentage is quite low compared to placements.
Infrastructure: There are enough labs in each department to give you practical exposure by performing experiments there. There is good Wi-Fi and LAN facility. The hostel rooms and food quality vary from hostel to hostel. Good sports infrastructure including cricket and football ground, badminton court, and tennis court.
Faculty: There is a good number of faculty members in each department with different domains. The course curriculum is well designed and there are also some interdisciplinary courses to give students more knowledge about different domains. The semester exams are not very difficult if you focus on class and study a little bit.
Other: I chose this college because it has a good NIRF ranking and is considered among the top NITs in India. The fest, sports, and extracurricular events happen throughout the year which make a very good environment year-round.

The best college after JEE is one that provides opportunities to students.
Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Myntra, Decimal Point, Q3 Technology, JPMc, TCS, Reliance, and Cummins. About 20 percent of students received only internships. Roles offered are analyst, finance, and core metallurgy.
Infrastructure: We have very high lecture hall. Around 40 classrooms are there with AC in every class. There are classes with soundproof walls. We have computer AC labs, a big library, hostels with average rooms, and quite large but the washrooms are not so good. The mess food is average, we have a night canteen it is good, very good medical facilities in the dispensary, all types of doctors are available, and a big sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and understanding. They take all the classes. Attendance is quite strict, Curriculum is good, and it makes students very tough. Semester exams are not so difficult that they can be easily passed if classes are attended properly or notes are provided. We have a pass percentage of more than 3 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because this college offers a variety of opportunities to students. One thing I want to improve is to add more fests because we have 2 fests a year, but they are the best. I want more.

MNIT - The Best College.
Placements: About 75% of the students got placed on our campus. The highest package is of 60 LPA. The lowest package is of 12 LPA. The average package is of 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, ICICI, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internships in their 3rd year.Β
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is so good when compared with private institutions. The classes are equipped with the facility of projectors. There is a big library with so many books that give other knowledge. In some hostels, a Wi-Fi port is provided to each and every student, and in some hostels, Wi-Fi is provided.Β
Faculty: The teachers are well educated about their course. As they completed their studies in IIT's and in many international institutions. The course curriculum is so relevant. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit tougher.Β

Best location and average placements.
Placements: About 90% of students got placed during the 2025 season, and so far, 70 out of 120 students have been placed in mechanical engineering for 2026. The highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average is about 10 LPA. Top recruiters are Hero and Honda. About 80 percent of students got internships. Top roles are junior engineers and management roles.
Infrastructure: There is the biggest lecture hall in Asia. It is fully equipped with AC and projectors. There is a 24/7 computer centre. A library with adequate facilities and AC is available. The food quality is average. There are good facilities for sports, medicine, and games with dedicated courts for various sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, etc., available.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with good ethics and teaching quality. Most of the course is relevant to the industry with a few outliers. Teachers are helpful with projects and activities. The semester exams are not highly difficult. Students can score good with just a week of preparation.
Other: The location is the best thing. Being in the centre of Jaipur, with World Trade Park just 5 minutes away. The coding culture and technology could be better here. Great events are conducted, both cultural and technical.
