Review of NIT Kurukshetra - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: In civil, around 60-70% of students got placed. The core placements are not good. Many students belonging to core branches got good placements in the IT and corporate sectors. Internships are not good. Placements are better in our college.

Infrastructure: All classrooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned. The generators work fine. All smart boards are average. Many projectors are available in classrooms. They do not work well, so professors carry their own if it is important to use them for a lecture.

My college is good in clubs infrastructure professors but less good in placements .

Placements: Placements are going on till now and they will be continued till July for the batch of 2023 approximately 60% students got placed in many companies which are tech or non tech companies and in civil mostly got placed in data analytics companies the highest package in civil is in non core field in Expedia which is about 40lpa and average package is about 7lpa but minimum package is about 5lpa but in non core field is 52lpa in Microsoft Always companies visit my college for the students which ar...

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Our college provides good placements in tech companies. They won't provide good placements in tech departments. They provide fewer salary packages. Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary package offered by Microsoft is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered for the CS branch is 10 CPA. The average salary package offered for a civil branch is 6 LPA. Many tech and non...

College is best in infrastructure and in environment but after covid placements are not good .

Placements: My college before 2020 was good in placement but after covid its NIRF ranking is decreasing because of less placements and many other factors. Placements are average in civil placement is 40% but overall placement is 60% till now for all the branches and many companies visit. The highest packages in tech is INR 52 lpa and from civil is INR 17 lpa and average for overall is INR 10 LPA. But minimum package is INR 5lpa in civil and INR 8lpa in tech companies. The recruiting companies are - Micros...

Our college provides great placements, but we can't expect much from campus life.

Placements: Placements here are quite good. You may have to try off-campus placements. The highest off-campus salary package offered in 2022 was 1.25 CPA. The highest on-campus salary package offered in 2022 was 47 LPA. The overall median was 10.92 LPA. The average placement in the mechanical branch was 8.72 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite good, air-conditioned, and well maintained. Hostels are very old, so we can't expect great infrastructure. Mess food is decent. Non-vegetarian food is not available. The library...

Hello Harshit,
For getting admission in any of the NITs, one needs to score better since competition is tough. I feel score of 250+ in JEE Mains should get you admission in this NIT.

A JEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a JEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam. Candidates must also be in the top 15,000 to 20,000 ranks to be accepted into the best NITs and IITs.

In JoSAA finding a seat with this rank is not guaranteed but in CSAB round there is a good chance that you may get branches like production engineering.
