MIET is a good college in Jammu and Kashmir.

Placements: Placements of Model Institute of Engineering and Technology is quite very good. Students are given different experiences to handle jobs. They provide time-to-time internships for students so that they can achieve experience and that would help them in their future as well as in their placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities in the college are very good. They provide Wi-Fi inside the campus. It has chemistry labs and a library. It also provides sports in this college from time to time. Sports activities happen in the college and it also has organised systematic groups.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and very brilliant. They understand us. They help us in the future and also motivate us to do our work. They also are very good and support us in every way that would help in our future.

Best College In Jammu Is Always Miet.

Placements: The college has a good placement percentage. After completing the 6th semester, the college provides a placement for those who are eligible for it. The average CGPA applicable for placement is 6.1, the average package provided by the college is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 7 LPA. The companies that provide placement are Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The library of the college is very big. I am personally very happy with the collection of books that are in the library. Our library provided a window of 10 days from the date of issue. Other facilities also use different technologies, including Bluetooth speakers, projectors, online classroom meetings, etc.

Faculty: Our college has the best professors with higher education and provides help and support to the students in their academic and other skills as well, and they also help in sports. They have an excellent level of teaching and provide knowledge about any topic.

Other: We have different societies that work continuously day and night to make the name of the college. If you talk about sports activities, every year our college organizes sports festivals.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: There were 60 students in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Byjus and Unacademy. We can also apply for online courses for internships via Udemy. Placements were not good, especially for the civil engineering department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good in our college. All buildings were good and spacious. Wi-Fi was available in every department. Laboratory was also good, and modern equipment was provided. Classrooms were spacious. The library was huge and there were around 30,000 books.

Faculty: Teachers were good and helpful. They had minimum qualification of M.Tech. They were very knowledgeable and experienced They help us a lot with our projects, and their teaching quality was better. The course curriculum was according to the syllabus provided by Jammu University.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in construction.

Placements: About 90% students got placed in this year's batch. The lowest package is3 LPA, the highest package is 16 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters for our college are Infosys, Xenonstack, Hitachi, Wipro, Hexaware Technologies and Tata Consultancy Services.

Infrastructure: Since the campus lacks a hostel facility but the overall infrastructure for academics and course-related activities such as the laboratory etc. is good. Wi-fi enabled campus with advanced classrooms with projectors for a better understanding of the course. Top-class sports infrastructure is there.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to the students in every situation. They are highly qualified. Most of them are M.Tech level teachers and PhD. level Professors. Students are being made ready for every industry challenge. Semester exams are not so hard if you have attended the classes.

I am absolutely satisfied with placements and faculty members.

Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, the lowest salary package was 4.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 8 LPA. These salary packages were offered in 2020. Around 80% of students get internships in our course.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for every course. The library has many course-related books that give knowledge to students. Classrooms are very good and clean. Sports and a canteen are available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our course are very supportive and knowledgeable. They clear students' doubts easily in a way to understand the concepts.

Other: I chose B.E. in computer science and engineering because I have an interest in networking, programming, coding, hacking, etc. Our college conducts good fests twice a year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is average as the buildings were painted long ago. Elevators are not in working condition. Sports and other facilities are not good. Bathrooms and classrooms are clean. Laboratories are good with working computers.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly educated and knowledgeable. They prepare presentations every day to teach students in the class. Some unnecessary courses are taught to prepare students ready for industries and jobs. Semester examinations are average. The pass percentage is 40%.
