Morigaon Polytechnic is the best college.

Placements: Some placements come in every year. This college is good, but lacks some facilities. I like this college, though not wholeheartedly; it is still better compared to some other colleges. I completed my course in electrical engineering in 2025, and I need to make choices regarding my future.

Infrastructure: This college does not have hostel facilities. If you need to choose a PG, hostel, or private room, this college has three departments: electrical engineering, medical electronics, and civil engineering. The lecturers are good and provide personal assistance.

Faculty: Exams are very expensive, and there are also class tests for all subjects. The teaching quality is good, and they provide instruction in a comfortable language. Lectures are also effective with a mentor; if you want to study a diploma in electrical, civil, or medical electronics engineering, this is a good option.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam . [Except son/daughter of central Govt. Employees).
