National College has a good atmosphere, infrastructure, and good faculty members.

Placements: B.A. English is a basic course, so most students think about their master's in English, but some get placed at companies like Zogo, The Hindu, and many other companies. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest is Rs. 12,000 per month. There are no internships for B.A. English students. Roles offered were related to communication and writing skills, like call center jobs, web page writers, and editor assistants in The Hindu newspaper.

Infrastructure: Our campus and hostel provide free Wi-Fi and. We have good labs. The library is good. They also installed 3 projectors in each department. The hostel is very good, like home. We enjoyed hostel life, but one problem was food. There was no non-vegetarian food. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner were not good enough. We have a good canteen where good food is served. Our college has a mini Apollo clinic. They give more importance to football, and our college has an indoor stadium.

Faculty: Our professors are well qualified and friendly to us. Our course is based on English literature. We learn about the history of English and how to communicate in English. Semester exams are mostly creative and you need to score 30 out of 75 to pass. The 25 mark is based on our assignment, seminar, internal exam, and attendance.

Other: There is no mathematics in English literature, and I am good at English, so I chose English literature. We will also improve the slang and phonetics. Apart from our course, they must provide some entertainment and fun. There is an annual day, freshers' day, sports day, farewell day, and hostel day for hostel students. They give scholarships based on community and marks in 12th. There are many organisations and clubs, such as the NCC, NSS, Retract Club, and Red Cross.
