NIMHANS MCh Eligibility & Highlights 2024
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences -NIMHANS offers an MCh programme in Neurosurgery as a full time postgraduate course. This programme is six years long. Admission into the NIMHANS MCh programme is according to the INI-CET norms, followed by a counselling process.

NIMHANS MCh Admission Dates 2024
The NIMHANS MCh admission dates for 2024 have been announced on the official website. The application process at NIMHANS started on February 15 2024 and the deadline for MCh admissions was March 16 2024. Entrance exam takes place in May. Classes start during July. NIMHANS MCh Admission 2024: How to Apply?
The NIMHANS MCh course admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. After appearing for the exam, candidates have to register for counselling. The steps included in the NIMHANS MCh admission process are given below:
Apply & Appear for the INI CET Exam
The NIMHANS application process is conducted on the official website of the university. Students can register for admission, and generating a student ID and password. After the registration, log in using the student ID and password to fill out the application form. Enter all the basic personal and academic details. Select the programme they wish to enrol for, upload the necessary documents and pay the application fees.
Entrance exam & Counselling
Admission to the NIMHANS MCh courses is entrance based. Students will be notified about the entrance exam dates through the official website of the university. Based on the results of the entrance exam, a merit list is published by the university on its official website. The shortlisted candidates are then called for counselling and document verification.
Fee Payment
After the counselling process is concluded, seats are offered to the selected candidates. These candidates must confirm their admission by paying the prescribed course fee. The tuition fee for MCh at NIMHANS ranges between INR 26,700 and INR 4.2 lakh.
