It has good infrastructure, supportive faculty, decent placements, and strong facilities.

Placements: About 83-98% of Nandha Engineering College students secure placements. In the 2024 batch, it was around 88%. The highest package recently reached was 14 LPA, and a few branches report up to 14 LPA. As per different sources, the average package ranges between 4-8.9 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 3.8-4 LPA. Top recruiters include major IT firms like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Virtusa, etc. Internships are robust. Nearly all students, i.e., 98% of students, receive hands-on experience in top-tier companies.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are decent, with clean and spacious rooms, 24x7 security, uninterrupted power supply, and access to purified drinking water. Medical facilities are available on campus with a dedicated health center and visiting doctors. Sports infrastructure includes basketball, volleyball, and cricket grounds, as well as indoor games like carrom and chess.

Faculty: The course curriculum is mostly updated to align with industry needs, including practical labs, projects, and certifications like NPTEL, which help students become job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, testing both theory and application-based knowledge. With proper preparation, they are manageable. The pass percentage is quite high. Around 85-90% is the pass percentage. Students are well-supported with internal assessment and remedial classes.

Other: I chose this course because I have a strong interest in technology and problem-solving. I believed this field would offer good career opportunities and personal growth. The best things about my course are the practical exposure through labs, industry-oriented curriculum, project-based learning, and the support from experienced faculty members. It also provides good placement opportunities and skill development through workshops and training sessions. Surroundings are peaceful and ideal for studying. Scholarships are provided based on merit and community. Extracurricular activities, including NSS, YRC, and sports, are well-supported, helping in overall personality development.

Nandha Engineering College is really good engineering college.

Placements: Nandha Engineering College is one of the more reputed engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. This college had good active placement cell. So every year 80-90% of students were placed in reputed companies. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahendra, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, Accenture, TVS, and Bajaj these companies visited this college campus for recruitment. The highest salary package was 13 LPA. The lowest salary package was 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Nandha Engineering College provided good infrastructure and facilities. More spacious modern classrooms and laboratories were available at this college. More equipped library facilities were also there at this college. This college provided good Wi-Fi network facilities. Boys and girls hostel facilities were available at this college. Hostel food was very hygienic and healthy. Emergency medical facilities were also there at this college. Multiple sports grounds and facilities were also there at this college.

Faculty: Nandha Engineering College had more than 20 courses. More designed staffs were working at this college. They were more experienced and qualified professionals. They also taught some additional courses. 95% of students passed all semester exams. Our department staffs arranged more industry visit programs.

Other: Nandha Engineering College management provided good transportation facilities. They conducted more sports and cultural events every semester. This college course and curriculum were updated. This college placements, infrastructure, and facilities were excellent. So I selected this college.

I am dissatisfied because of the teaching methods and bad placements.

Placements: Out of 60 students in my batch, only one is placed in an MNC. The highest package offered for my course is 8 LPA. The only MNCs that are top recruiting companies for my course are CTS and Cognizant. None of the students from my course secured an internship. The top role for my course is production engineer. They didn't provide any placement training to the students.

Infrastructure: In my department, all the facilities are good. They provide good equipment in labs and smart classes in each and every classroom, but the Wi-Fi facility is very bad. I don't know about the hostel facility because I am a day scholar. The canteen facility in my college is good. For medical facilities, there is a nearby Nandha Ayurveda and Siddha college. In case of an emergency, we can go there to take medications. The sports and games facilities are really amazing. Our college and department encourage our students to participate in all events, both technical and non-technical.

Faculty: Teaching quality from the faculty is average, and the courses that students study are not relevant to making them industry-ready. What we learn in college is not helpful for the industry. After college, we have to learn extra courses to prepare for placements outside the campus. The semester exams are very difficult to clear, and a maximum number of students are appearing for backlogs.

Other: I chose this course through counseling. I'd like to see more placement training that is relevant to making us industry-ready. This is the only improvement needed for my course. The events, fests, campus, and crowd are all really good. You can explore many things and participate in every non-technical and technical event, as well as the amazing extra and co-curricular activities.

Placements: In our college, CSE department has an placement rate exceeding 97%. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4-5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and Zoho. Roles offered in software development, AI, and cloud engineering. Internship opportunities enhance students' industry readiness.

Infrastructure: College offer facilities like Wi-Fi, advanced CSE labs, and smart classrooms. Library is available with over 62,000 books and e-resources. Hostels provide clean rooms, quality food, medical care, and access to sports like cricket and basketball. Facilities ensure a holistic academic and personal development.

Faculty: NEC's teachers are qualified, supportive, and focus on practical learning. The CSE curriculum is industry-aligned, with strong placement outcome. Exams are moderate challenging; consistent preparation ensures success. Pass rates are high, with most students achieving good results.

Other: I chose CSE because of its vast career opportunities and the relevance of the courses to current tech trends. The best aspects of the program include hands-on labs, skilled faculty, and strong industry connections. Improvements could be made in increasing industry internships. Events like tech fests and extracurricular activities enhance the campus experience. Campus is well-connected and situated in a peaceful environment. Scholarships are available for deserving students.

College infrastructure and the peaceful environment.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Many companies come here, and they give good packages. We should maintain a minimum of 80% to get into a good company. PWC, DBS, Oracle, Infosys have already visited our college and recruited. Around 30 members got placed till now.

Infrastructure: Here, cultural and sports events will occur. There is a tech fest during November. There is a vast library on the NEC campus. There are a lot of sports and extracurricular activities. There are more than 10 clubs such as tree plantation, trekking, NSS, cultural, sports, etc.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. Faculty-student relationship is good but not that great. I love my HN Laxmi mam. She is too good in teaching Java. I don't like Bhargav sir. She doesn't have content. Exams are moderate. Per semester, two midterms for each subject and final exams.

College is absolutely worth money and you will get placements with a high package.

Placements: In my college, 100% students have been placed, and highest package is 44 LPA, and average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. There are many top companies coming to our college, for example, TCS, Amazon, Accenture, and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good. There is a neat and clean maintenance of college. College hostel infrastructure is also very good. Food is available at any time. Mess and canteen are also in a very neat manner. Medical facilities are there, and also sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers were well-experienced and they are giving us a quality education. They are very well qualified in their field of teaching. Semester exam in our college is simple. If you study well, you are going to clear exams in higher grades.

Other: This is the course that has a good scope for future, so I chose this course. My course is B.E. Computer Science Engineering.
