College life gave me a lot of confidence in giving presentations.
Placements: In our college, approximately 10% of students were placed. Around 2-2.8LPA package offered. Only 5% of students got internships with the help of college references, others need to look at it by themselves. Also, more the 2 students are not allowed to do internships in the same organization for the position such as HR, marketing, and finance.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is amazing, including a lawn, library, classrooms with air-conditioners and fans. The quality of food provided in the canteen is good. College organize sports week and other competition like Ad Mad, where we need to present advertisements. There is medical facility available.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful. There is a lack in providing practical knowledge. Semester exams are quite difficult because teachers are very strict. The passing percentage is good.
Other: I chose this course because of the rising opportunities. The best thing about this course is it helps to gain confidence to give a presentation.

I am satisfied with the amount paid and the knowledge gain.
Placements: It is the best college in Guwahati for pursuing BBA and MBA. Placements for MBA graduates are good, and students are also taken care of in which they lack. After BBA, they don't provide placements. Cut off is not much, which is approximately 60%.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library in our college are good. They have a canteen in the college. NEF Law College is ranked 10th in best law college in India. Facilities are provided in the new campus is good. The sports ground was not provided in the old campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and well-knowledgeable, and students are being provided with industry exposure in the 2nd and 4th semester. HOD and the teachers are very kind. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Quality of teaching is good. Semesters, assignments and presentation help students to improve their skills.

Upcoming promising B-school in Guwahati
Placements: Well, the placement support during our time i.e. the 2014 batch was nothing much to boast. Not a single BBA student got placed through the placement cell, which to say, was basically defunct. But of late, things have improved considerably. A lot of mates who are into MBA in the same college say that there's a separate placement cell now which is more proactive, and have been able to get their students multiple placement options with a decent package. The average salary is around 2.4 lacs CTC for the 2015-17 MBA batch, the highest being 3.2 lacs CTC for one of the marketing major students in Radisson Blue, and around 50% of the current batch being placed. It is important to note that the placement location is mostly in the Guwahati region.
Most of the companies as mentioned are from the NE region and include Downtown Hospital, Mahindra Finance, Big Bazaar, Reliance Trends, etc.
Coming to internships, very few of them took internships from the college, as most of them went to their native cities to pursue the internship from their hometown. However, a couple of MBA marketing students of 2015-17 batch got internship opportunities at Radisson Blue, Guwahati. The stipend was Rs. 7000 for 2 months.
Infrastructure: The facilities are on par with any other management colleges in the city, though forget the high-speed Wi-Fi as that doesn't exist. It just gets your normal browsing done. The classrooms, however, are spacious and well ventilated. Although only the MBA classes have AC, still, the rooms, being large and properly designed, remain cool even during the summer time. There is no ground on the campus for outdoor activities, if that is what you are looking for. There is a large basement and all the outdoor activities, mainly organized by the Social Works Department take on. The quality of food is okay but filling and good for the price. Occasionally one might get specials like dosas and momos. The library is well-stocked with academic books, but you won't find a lot of fiction and non-fiction there. NEF doesn't have any hostel on the campus. But there is one girls' hostel nearby run by the college authorities, and it is quite good, as I have heard from my fellow mates during my stay.
Well, coming to difficulties, there is no lift in the college and climbing 3 storeys can become a tedious task, especially after lunch. Rest nothing much to complain about.
Faculty: The faculty team is mostly from the academic background and doesn't have much of industry experience. But they were helpful and knew how to make the classes interactive, and I guess that is what counts the most. Teaching methodology was pretty much the usual affair, with daily presentations, case studies and weekly seminars. The student to teacher ratio is pretty good. As the batch strength is only 40, the ratio is around 25:1. No industry exposure as such, but the curriculum was useful and came in quite handy during my MBA from UTU, as most of the MBA syllabus was what I had already learned during my time at NEF.
Other: It was a college where I made a lot of wonderful memories, and although the college might not boast of the sparkles of other B-schools, It has a dedicated faculty team and helpful seniors and the environment would make any soul fall quickly in love with it.
