This college is very good because of its good faculty, good placements, and very good facilities.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in your course. The highest package is 18 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 4 Lacs in our course. Top recruiting companies are Nestle and Visionary. 99% students got internships from our course in many food companies. The top roles are quality controller and food safety officer.
Infrastructure: Nehru College Coimbatore has huge library facilities, and every department has labs. Classrooms are very big with LED screens for study purposes. The hostel has Wi-Fi facilities. The hostel provides good food and quality food. They also have very good medical facilities and sports centers.
Faculty: Every teacher is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers have very good teaching quality. This course is very relevant and has a huge scope in the food industry. Semester exams are very difficult. The majority of students will pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have a very strong interest in studying microorganisms. Our college is conducting many events and many extracurricular activities.

Social interaction plays a more important role in learning and other activities.
Placements: The placement record at NIT Srinagar is quite commendable. In my Mechanical Engineering branch, nearly 95% of students have secured jobs. The average salary package is approximately 13.8 LPA, while the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the mechanical engineering branch. Major companies recruiting from our college include Cognizant, Infosys, Samsung, ACC, and others.
Infrastructure: Our college has a beautiful environment and it is very neat and clean. There are a lot of sports activities and clubs in our college. Students can expose the hidden talents and sports activities for certain clubs and sports. The campus was very nice and good.
Faculty: Faculty members are so good. They try so hard to make students give maximum output to pass semester exams. The ratio of faculty to students is 15 to 20 students there is one faculty member. I like most our mechanical teacher because he continuously guides me on what to do. The level of the exam is moderate or some harder side.

Placements: About 75% of students in the B.Sc. in costume design and fashion program at Nehru Arts and Science College in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs 18,000 per month, and the lowest salary is Rs 15,000 per month. B.Sc. placement statistics in 2023, the median package offered to B.Sc. students was INR 2.52 LPA. You can join the college for just a degree but do not expect more than this.
Placements: From the previous batches, most of the students were placed in medical coding companies, with the exception of those who found placements in hospitals or laboratories on their own. A mandatory 14-day internship is to be done in the 4th semester, for which credit is awarded. So far, no food industries or healthcare industries have been brought to the college placement drive. Top roles after the course are nutritionist, health coach, food inspector, quality analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities for our courses include a food lab and a chemical analysis lab. Cleanliness could be improved; the food lab lacks hygiene. There are 2-3 canteens available inside the campus with average food. We have a huge library where a limited number of books are available for our courses. Classrooms are not very advanced.
Faculty: The teaching quality was average to below average. The curriculum could be improved when compared to other institutions offering the same course. Semester exams are not difficult if you know the subject well enough to pass. However, the curriculum will not guarantee you a job at any workplace.
Other: The best thing about the course is that if you're keenly interested in it, it will benefit your own lifestyle. Proper classes should be imparted. The college events are not exceptional but can be enjoyable if you catch the vibe. The management could be improved. The campus maintenance is really good with lots of greenery around.

Both study and enjoyment are equal here.
Placements: Yes, I have recently joined Nehru College for approximately 1 to 1.5 months. In my class, there are 54 students. For my course, the highest package was 8 lakh and the lowest was 2 lakh per year. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, and many more. For my course, we only need pass marks and skills are the main focus of our course. Management heads, supervisors, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The classroom facility is good and the labs are also good, but if you're looking for Wi-Fi, this campus is not a Wi-Fi-free campus; only staff can access Wi-Fi. And everyone should be required to get a library card. The library also has two floors. Finally, if you choose a hostel on a college campus, a college bus will come and pick you up and drop you off, and they will also provide food, with a rent of around 85,000 per year.
Faculty: Faculty talk about this sometime but they won't do such silly activities. The teaching quality was very good and they also finished master's degrees. Yes, there is also an industrial visit; we are also going to make a field visit soon. You need 35 out of 100 marks to pass one subject.
Other: I don't know why I chose this course but I think that every course has a specific value and I need to achieve it. I have nothing to improve about my course because I am just in my first year. Events and fests are the main things that happen frequently; mainly, extracurricular activities happen every time. And they are also giving scholarships.
