Institute for Management Studies YMCA UG Diploma Admission 2022

The institute offers UG diploma in eight specialisations for a duration of one year each. The programme is segregated in two semesters. In some specialisations, internship might be mandatory. Find below UG diploma specialisation along with the eligibility, selection criteria and total fee:

Eligibility: A pass in Class 12 examination is required to apply for UG diploma course. Apart from this, male height should be 5’7 and female should be 5’3 with no tattoos to apply for Airhostess, Travel & Airport Management specialisation.

Institute for Career Studies YMCA Application Process 2022

Currently, the institute is accepting applications online. Admission to the institute is open to all young men & women without any distinction of caste, creed or religion. The institute reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant without assigning any reasons. Aspirants need to pay INR 500 for the prospectus. Candidates can also obtain prospectus from institute on cash payment or by post through DD/ pay order in favour of New Delhi YMCA Education Centre payable at Delhi. Step 1: Visit the official website, https://www.newdelhiymca.in/ics/.

Step 2: From the index bar at the top, select ‘Registration’.

Step 3: Fill the personal, communication and other details in the registration form.

Step 4: Pay INR 500 for the prospectus and submit the form.

Step 5: An acknowledgement and login details will be sent on registered mail-id.

Step 6: Go back to the website and select ‘Student Portal’ from the index at the top.

Step 7: Login and fill the admission form.

Step 8: Upload the documents.

Step 9: Pay the course fee to confirm the admission.

YMCA is one of such institute that can lay a stepping stone in one's ambition to be self employed.

Placements: The institute gives 100percent placement guarantee. No campus interview was conducted for this particular course. But most of the students went for internship. Due to COVID situations I didn't try for internship. But 90% students could get internship.

Infrastructure: The Institute has sufficient place and classrooms for various courses. The available infrastructure is very nice and even It has its own library and even computer labs. Hostel is available for other courses, no hostel facility for the students of this course.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. One of the teachers is an excellent teacher. They teach through daily life examples in a layman language, which makes students even without having any Science background understand well.

Other: classrooms can be further improved.

College is good. Faculty is good.

Placements: Around 50% placed. I have no idea of the highest or the lowest packages offered but 50% got internship. Initially as an intern in an hospital we had joined. Companies like healthify, hearbalife, Instafitness, hospitals like BLKapur, medanta, max, apollo have been on top priority.

Infrastructure: Classroom was fine never explored other things because it was a short term course and I was doing it with my work hand in hand so didn't had too much to explore canteen was decent. I was into Diploma course which was for an year so didn't get too much into other things.

Faculty: Teachers were really good and helpful amazing quality and skills. Course curriculum was relevant. If studied well it wasn't too difficult, semesters wise exam was there and some class tests were performed regularly to enhance knowledge and skills of individual.

Other: I choose the course to get into fitness. The best thing is you do a job you are still improving your health via knowledge.

Amazing experience and exposure to health industry the course gives.

Placements: Around 16 girls were placed and most of them are doing internship. Dietitian roles are offered. Blk, apollo, st. stephens are some top recruiters. 50% are doing internship. Roles as nutritionist are offered from the course done. Internship as dietitian. One can be entreprenure after doing course in health industries.

Infrastructure: As we were pursuing course during covid times, so all classes were held online and were amazing. Infrastructure was pretty well. Not lived in hostel or campus as I am from Delhi itself so was not needed. Though the campus was quite big and everyone was friendly.

Faculty: Teachers were amazing teacher and mentor one can have and learn from. Course was relevant and beneficial too. The course helped us in industry too as the knowledge provided by institute was relevant and beneficial. Exams were good. 80% passed.

Other: Course chosen to pursue as dietitian in future. More of practical knowledge to be provided which was bit less.

YMCA New Delhi is a good college.

Placements: I am from batch no 182 in the travel tourism and airport handling course. Placements of YMCA are good, but due to the pandemic, many students did not get recruited. Salary packages were not offered by the institute. None of the students got internships. TTAH is one of the valuable courses, but due to the pandemic, the scope of the travel industry got down.

Infrastructure: The department has a very good infrastructure with many facilities like a library, computer labs and fully air-conditioned classrooms. Wi-Fi was not available, and the canteen was also not available. Our college provides many types of sports activities like basketball, swimming pool, etc.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are well-qualified. Students get project work, presentation skills, report writing and an abundance of knowledge. The curriculum was relevant. Their main role is not to impart bookish language to students, but they share their experiences in the corporate world.

Other: Our college could conduct more trips and events.

Overall, the experience was good. If you want to learn a language, you can join that course.

Placements: Teachers here are very friendly and helpful. Our college provides the highest paying jobs. Companies like Amazon, Google, etc., visit here, and you can get jobs in them if you have good command on languages. Teachers will help you to achieve all the things. I got 70% of marks in just my first attempt as a beginner.

Infrastructure: Our college is very nice and completely air-conditioned, which is a good thing. Classrooms, library and everything are just amazing and completely air-conditioned. The canteen is also pretty nice, and overall the experience was good. The library has many books, including audio, which is an advantage. You can issue books as per your need. Everything is neat and clean here.

Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful to students. There are good teachers with good knowledge, and they provide quality teaching. Teachers helped me to achieve my goal. The pass percentage was above 70%.

Other: I chose a diploma in Spanish language because I want to be a translator, which is a high paying job. Cultural events organised here helped me to know about the culture of Spain. This is a very practical way to learn any language.

Superlative and splendid.

Placements: Almost all the students were placed in reputed companies. Very good packages were offered in my course. English Speaking and Personality Development, Hospitality, Tourism, World's Geographical knowledge and Airlines or Cruise ticketing, Airport Handling, French language, Global Distribution System (CRS), etc. were the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: I've never seen before the infrastructure similar to YMCA anywhere during my entire career. I spent my golden memories at YMCA New Delhi. All the facilities like, sports, food, games, medical facilities were superb. I enjoyed so many games with my friends and also the library of YMCA is superior.

Faculty: The teachers of YMCA are so helpful and also they all are house of knowledge. The curriculum is obviously relevant and it's a professional course which helps students to grow up and face any kind of interview in this field. YMCA is contributing to brighter prospects for the country.

Other: Since childhood, I have loved to hang out and meet strangers, so that's why I chose this course. There is not a thing I would want to improve about my course.
