It's a good college to take admission without any doubts.
Placements: B.Com. in Finance and Taxation is a nice course. 80% of students get placements through that college. Mainly, Federal Bank and ICICI Bank are the recruiting companies. Students who are interested in the banking and financial sectors mainly choose this course. Our college is accredited by NAAC with an A grade.
Infrastructure: Newman College provides modern facilities and a well-equipped learning environment to support the B.Com in Finance and Taxation. It has a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, a smart board, and projectors. There is a well-equipped computer lab for students. Hostel facilities are also provided. A clean canteen is available here. There is a huge ground for sports activities.
Faculty: Our college has highly qualified teachers. They are mostly MCom, MBA, and PhD qualified. Teachers take extra classes and doubt-clearing sessions. It has an updated syllabus and practical skill development. Semester exams are moderately difficult. It has a high pass percentage, i.e., about 80-90%.
Other: BCom in finance and taxation is a career-oriented course, so I chose it. The course is a perfect blend of accounting and taxation. It should provide practical learning and hands-on training in tally and GST.

The college will make you a new man.
Placements: Above 96% need to score to get into this college. They offer more than 200 packages and they get placements in Wipro, South Indian Bank, and Federal Bank. The student needs only 60% to get internships in our college. In my opinion, college is the best option for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department, hostel, labs, and classrooms are very good. They provide good quality food for us. They support sports and arts thing to develop extra skill for students. I hope you join our college and secure a good position in the future.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and educated. They prepare students from the beginning to train themselves to be confident. Semester exams are very easy with the help of teachers' skills in teaching us. They help you to build confidence and make you a new man for society.
Other: The best courses in our college are B.Com regular economics and English department.

Really satisfied with the quality of facilities and good environment.
Placements: The quality of placement at college was good with 80% of the students placed in various disciplines of Animation and Multimedia. The average salary offered is around 4.5 to 5 Lacs per annum. The college comes with a packed up opportunity for each student as the course is designed in a way that it covers various aspects of designing.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and has numerous animation equipments for efficient working. The college has it's own cultural committee, which helps in wholesome development of the students. The area is clean and maintained well by the concerned authorities.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and motivated. I can give a good suggestion to those who are willing to join our college . We should put our efforts to get placed. To get good opportunities you need to have a good academic life and be best in your campus. You should also work hard to bring the best in you and show it to the society. You can also get a chance to lead the clubs if you have proper knowledge and ideas about the club. Overall the college is very supportive.
Other: In our current situation computer application is necessary in every organisation.

It is an excellent college for students, and all the teachers are friendly.
Placements: About 120 students got placements in our college. The highest salary offered by the college is Rs. 16,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 5,000 per month. All the top companies are called-off every year for providing placements. Almost 70% of students get internships in our course. Role as a manager at the bank and other finance organisations are offered.
Infrastructure: Classes and labs will keep you busy for a few hours otherwise you will have a lot of time for fun and self-study. Labs are highly equipped. It is the best sports training facility for students. A high standard of library area is here and they also offer high-class gym facilities and swimming pools. Basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts are also there.
Faculty: We have very experienced teachers in our college. They are very strict while teaching they help us to study well. Professors are highly qualified and have great skills to teach their subjects most effectively. Around 13 different courses are available in this college. Teachers are so friendly with the students. It is not easy to qualify for the whole exam but an average student can pass the exams. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I studied commerce in plus two, so I chose this course. With this course, we can get assured job as a staff, manager, etc. Professors are highly qualified and have great skills to teach their subjects most effectively. Around 13 different courses are available in this college. Teachers are so friendly with students. Arts day, Sports day, Foodfest, Ethnic day College day, Commerce festival, Onam celebration, and Christmas celebration are held. All the students in the college participate in all these programs. Students from other colleges can participate in the commerce fest.

Our college also encourages students to participate in NCC, NSS, sports club, and art club.
Placements: About 40% of the students from our course got placement. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month, and the highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. Top banks, institutions, and companies visit our college to hire students. Students get placed in the top levels. A top role offered is management, mainly in the banking sector.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a good library and classroom with a good atmosphere, fresh air, good quality tables, and benches. The quality of facilities offered in our hostel is excellent.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is excellent. We have a number of teachers who are qualified with PhD degrees in their field. Teachers are really helpful. They provide us with all the support that is relevant to our curriculum. I strongly feel that this course curriculum is not relevant as it is overloaded with a number of unwanted topics or syllabus. The syllabus is properly planned, which enables us to understand the course in its true essence.
Other: I have chosen this course because I would like to deal with a topic which will have an all-time relevance in the economy. Commerce is such a field that moves with the changing scenario. Numerous programs are conducted each year. It includes fest conducted by different departments, arts day, sports day, merit day, and college day.

The college had an excellent curriculum and infrastructure facilities.
Placements: The placement cell of Newman college is good. But the number of students getting placement are comparatively low in UG streams because the students opt for higher studies. The main recruiters are Federal Bank, Deloiitte, HDFC bank, ESAF etc. The salary package various from company to company. But usually it starts from 1 Lacs and so on.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructural facilities and the classrooms are well arranged. The library contains lots of books and journals. College has a good computer lab and an ATM counter in campus itself. The canteen is excellent and provides tasty and quality food. Hostel facility is only allotted to girls.
Faculty: The faculty members of Newman college is excellent. They all have an in depth knowledge about the subjects. All faculty members are highly qualified. The teaching methods are impressive. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes the students ready for the industry .
Other: I took this course because of my interest towards finance. There are several events, sports and art programs in college. The various activities gives the students a way of exposure.
