It's a good college to take admission without any doubts.
Placements: B.Com. in Finance and Taxation is a nice course. 80% of students get placements through that college. Mainly, Federal Bank and ICICI Bank are the recruiting companies. Students who are interested in the banking and financial sectors mainly choose this course. Our college is accredited by NAAC with an A grade.
Infrastructure: Newman College provides modern facilities and a well-equipped learning environment to support the B.Com in Finance and Taxation. It has a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, a smart board, and projectors. There is a well-equipped computer lab for students. Hostel facilities are also provided. A clean canteen is available here. There is a huge ground for sports activities.
Faculty: Our college has highly qualified teachers. They are mostly MCom, MBA, and PhD qualified. Teachers take extra classes and doubt-clearing sessions. It has an updated syllabus and practical skill development. Semester exams are moderately difficult. It has a high pass percentage, i.e., about 80-90%.
Other: BCom in finance and taxation is a career-oriented course, so I chose it. The course is a perfect blend of accounting and taxation. It should provide practical learning and hands-on training in tally and GST.

The college will make you a new man.
Placements: Above 96% need to score to get into this college. They offer more than 200 packages and they get placements in Wipro, South Indian Bank, and Federal Bank. The student needs only 60% to get internships in our college. In my opinion, college is the best option for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department, hostel, labs, and classrooms are very good. They provide good quality food for us. They support sports and arts thing to develop extra skill for students. I hope you join our college and secure a good position in the future.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and educated. They prepare students from the beginning to train themselves to be confident. Semester exams are very easy with the help of teachers' skills in teaching us. They help you to build confidence and make you a new man for society.
Other: The best courses in our college are B.Com regular economics and English department.

Reflection on my college journey.
Placements: Placements in my college are very low. Very few students only get placed through campus placements in my college. Mainly students get placed in banks in our college. A lot of internships are available for students in different colleges and companies, and very few internships are provided with a stipend.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful and mind-blowing. Mainly, there are two buildings for academics, and two buildings are with a central courtyard. Buildings are arranged in a very scientific way, so we can easily reach all departments. Many facilities are available in college like a gym, hostel, volleyball court, basketball court, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are highly qualified. They are very friendly with students. They help students in academics and extracurricular activities. They encourage students in different kinds of activities. Exams are conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University. Exams are very difficult compared to other courses.
Other: Generally, the campus is very neat and clean. All kinds of facilities are available in the college. The campus area is slightly small.

A good college for M.Com students.
Placements: Our college provided excellent academic and career opportunities. The programme had a strong placement record with around 85% of students secured jobs. The highest package offer was 10 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The average package was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, PWC, KPMG HDFC, etc. About 65% of students secured internships in financial institutes and corporate financial departments.
Infrastructure: College provided excellent facilities including computer labs, equipped with finance and tax offices like tally and SAP. Library had an extensive collection of books, journals, research papers, and case studies. Hostels were clean and provided a study-friendly environment with Wi-Fi access. Mess food was decent and students also had access to canteen. Sports facilities, medical centers, and seminar halls for workshops and guest lectures were available.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly experienced and approachable ensuring students understand complex topics to real-world examples and case studies. Faculty members were very knowledgeable in the particular domain and experts in the particular fields. Course curriculum covered corporate taxation, GST auditing, and financial management preparing students for careers in finance. Exams are modularly difficult but manageable with consistent study and the pass rate is high.

Placements: This college is the best. Placement opportunities are provided to the students, and every year, a total of 40 to 60 percent of students are placed in companies. These companies have one condition: a 7 CGPA mark for participating in the placement campus. This course offers a good career in banking and other companies.
Infrastructure: This college provides many facilities, and hostel facilities are available for a few students only because there are not many rooms for the students. The college also has canteen facilities that are very good and serve the best food, such as homemade food.
Faculty: This college's teachers are very good and provide good teaching knowledge to the students. They are very helpful and solve any problem, and the practical explanations are very good. This course has a duration of 2 to 1 years after the Bachelor’s degree.

Placements: More than 85% of students secured jobs in good companies. The highest package that was offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The average was 6 LPA. Many reputed companies visited our college for recruitment process such as Deloitte, EY, and KPMG. Around 65% of students secured internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college was good and had a nice appeal to it. The department had modern classrooms, computer labs were equipped with many software that students needed throughout their course. Campus provided reliable Wi-Fi high-speed connection, which was helpful for research and projects. Hostels were clean with spacious rooms and uninterrupted power supply.
Faculty: Faculty members were experienced professionals. They used real-life examples and case studies to make learning interesting and practical. The way of learning helped students to understand real-world problems accurately and taught them how to solve them. Course curriculum was well-designed. They were designed in such a way that it helped students to be industry-ready.
