Review for NIFT-TEA College of KNITWEAR FASHION

Placements: 98 percent students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 4.2 lakhs per year, lowest package offered in our course was 3 lakhs per year and average package offered in our course was 3.6 lakhs per year. 98 percent got internship from our course.

Infrastructure: The college has really good facilities and infrastructure for our course. The classrooms are big. All lab facilities are available in the labs. The library is big and all subjects books are available in the library. The library has a big reading rooms for the students to read books. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. They were qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. They always help me to learn and understand things easily. The teaching quality is good. The semester exams are moderate in this college. 98 percent students are passed in the semester exams in every year in this college.

Fake promises made by college.

Placements: 1.95% students placed. 2. The highest salary will be 12000 the lowest salary will be 8000 Average salary will be 10000. 3. TEA associated companies came for recruitment. 4. Merchandiser, quality controller, unit incharge, Industrial engineering etc roles were offered. 10% students got internship.

Infrastructure: 1. Don't expect amy infrastructure and facilities. There is no free Wi-Fi. Labs are average. classrooms also average. Library is lil bit okay. 2. Totally the worst hostel. Food also the worst. Medical facilities are not there in and around our college. They won't give importance to spots and games.

Faculty: 1. More than 90% of faculty or teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about their respective subjects 2. The course curriculum is more relevant for the job opportunities. More than 50% students are ready for industry. But they need some practical knowledge to shine in the industry.

Other: I chose this course to become an entrepreneur. In NIFT-TEA college our department is the best in knowledge and skills. There are no events, fest organised.

Our college provides good education and lab facilities to its students.

Placements: Nearly one-third of the students from costume design and fashion get placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Prisma and many other top companies visit the campus for recruitment. Designer, merchandiser and quality controller are the roles offered. In our course, the highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Nearly 80% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: The lab facility in our college is good. They provide Wi-Fi for laptops but not for mobiles. They are much caring about the hostel. We have medical and sports facilities. The college organises sports events for the improvisation of sport.

Faculty: Faculty members In our college are well educated as most of them completed their PhD. The teaching quality is pretty much good when compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant, and it covers all the areas in the industry. So studying this course will give you an idea about the industry.

Other: I opted for this course to get a job in the industry. Some subjects which are no needed must be removed, and some portions of the industry which is not covered should be added for the improvement of the course. They support to participate in other college events, etc.

Other: It was a good learning for me to study there. Nice ambition and good teaching faculty with internship learning also. While studying you will get a part time job. So that learning from company will be too easy. FAM is a three year degree course specially designed to develop technicians to cater to the needs of garment manufacturing.

Other: Nice college, had a good staff and good course material. Please note that this institute is no more a part of the actual NIFT. The lab facilities are better than other NIFT colleges. We had internships and part time working scheme 'Earn While Learn' which was the best part.
