December 15, 2023: On December 14th, 2023, NIPS School of Hotel Management hosted its momentous Alumni Meet 2023, bringing together generations of graduates on the scenic Salt Lake campus in Kolkata.

Founded in 1993 by Prof. Vivek Pathak, NIPS has established itself as a leading force in hospitality education, offering a spectrum of diploma, degree, and master's programs in Hotel/Hospitality and culinary studies. This year's meet, a heartfelt celebration of the enduring NIPS community, welcomed alumni from the inaugural batch of 1996 to recent graduates, filling the campus with an electric atmosphere of nostalgia and reconnection.

March 1, 2023: Chef Craig Zubrinich of Salford College in Australia was graciously hosted by NIPS Hotel Management College, and it was a thrilling and unforgettable event for everyone involved! Chef Craig had the chance to speak with NIPS students. He was very moved by the degree of enthusiasm and commitment NIPS School of Hotel Management students showed to their coursework and futures in the hospitality industry. In response, the students were appreciative of the chance to study under such a renowned veteran in the field. He kindly imparted his wisdom and expertise to them, inspiring them to keep pursuing their aspirations and striving assiduously to meet their objectives.

Seeing how wonderfully he connected with our students was touching. We value his involvement in our athletics programme and were pleased to have him present the medals and trophies to the event winners. NIPS School of Hotel Management Becomes 'Eastern India's No. 1 Hotel Management College' For 8th Consecutive Year

January 31, 2022: NIPS Hotel Management Institute's commitment to quality and excellence in hospitality education has been acknowledged and honoured once again. For the eighth year in a row, the institute has been named Eastern India's No. 1 Hotel Management College by the Education Leadership Award-2021 in Mumbai. The award was given to the teachers and students for their dedication and excellence in the field of hospitality management.

NIPS boasts an exceptional faculty of internationally renowned celebrity chefs, led by celebrity chef Joseph Uttam Gomes. The broad expertise and great experience of NIPS's faculty is the true reason for students' national and international success, resulting in global recognition for the institute.

For the year 2019-2020, NIPS has been named "Asia's Greatest Brand." It is the first hotel management institution in India to be awarded the renowned "Best International Placement Award" for the academic year 2019-2020 in Bangkok, Thailand.
