Nowgong Polytechnic is the best polytechnic institution in Assam.

Placements: No students have been placed yet. Package is upto Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month. The recruiting companies are Larsen & Toubro, Indian Tobacco company, Tata, and Hyundai Motors. Every student got their internship from PWD Road, APDCL, etc. In my department of civil engineering, every teacher guides me during classes, labs, and projects.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is available. Some lab equipment is not there therefore we could not do our lab. Classrooms are well structured. Quality of the food in canteen is pretty good. Playing facility is not available. Washrooms are not so much usable. Drinking water is available.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of teachers is good. The course makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are easy if you are a regular student and study at home. The minimum passing percentage is 30%.

Other: There are all polymeet events in different Polytechnic Institutions of Assam. In this event, many participants achieved a good price, all facilities for travel, and food. The events are organized by faculty members, local, and government.

Overall, it's a good college.

Placements: If you're a student, then your placement is sure.

Infrastructure: Not very good, average. If you are outside of Nagaon, you can stay in the Polytechnic's hostel. The hostel is good enough for you to stay comfortably. In the canteen, good food is available at the cheapest price, so you can easily buy it whenever you want. And the university campus is not good enough as compared to others. The infrastructure is not good enough. The cycle stand and the playground are not good enough. But the quality of study is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and they will help you If you are behaving, impress them. They will give you good marks and, in return, you will have to give them respect and attendance. And the exam is not that tough. If you are a good student, then you can easily crack the exam.

Placements: Top recruiting companies are mostly construction related such as dalmia, gamon, etc. Top roles that are offered in our course - junior engineer, Ast. Engineering. Student above 60% in HSLC exam and above 45-50% in Polytechnic admission test, can easily get a seat in this college.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our college - Nowhong Polytechnic has digital classroom, and well maintained civil engineering labs and have common library along with branch library. Hostel - 3 total hostel. Good food quality hostel. Yes canteen available in the college campus. Also a Polytechnic hospital near hostel 1&2 Sports and indoor games available both in hostel and college.

Faculty: All teacher are highly qualified. Teaching quality is also very good. Modern techniques are also used while teaching. All updated techniques, machines and technology are used to teach the students. Yes the students are industry ready. Pass percentage - 90-95%.

Other: Because I love civil engineering. The best about this course is you can develop your surroundings along with the country.

Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE.
